Wymsey Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Probably going against the grain here, but I admire Tottenham's style-of-play. Good on the eye and always competitive. 1
foxinsox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Being a Crystal Palace fan today looks pretty grim.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Bakayoko looks as good as Kante! Is DD injured? Not even on the bench today?
Guest Kopfkino Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 We're going to get nowhere near Man City, can we forfeit that game now?
Suzie the Fox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Im actually routing for Chelsea here.
Suzie the Fox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 That goal has been coming for a while.. Chelsea getting pwned today
trabuch Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 (edited) De Bruyne is sheer quality - he does so much in that side. (PS - It's nice to watch a bit of football today) Edited 30 September 2017 by trabuch
Jaspa Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 This Rhubarb lot look really good. De Bruyne is custard
Jonezy Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 We are not playing Man City anytime soon are we...

Innovindil Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Man city 100% the team to beat this season. Their squad looks insane.
EastAnglianFox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 That was frightening, a Man City v PSG champions league final looking on, and also showing that our title win will never ever be matched again. Money talking in a big big way.
SuperMike Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Can't stand Guadiola - Mr.. Arrogant know-it-all - but great to see Chelski lose. At least we didn't have the tv cameras following Conté running up and down the pitch, with his mouth wide open, having some kind of orgasmic fit whilst wetting himself. Stupid antics. He should grow up a bit.

Its ridiculous that the Champions are so threadbare in this area.
Wymsey Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 (edited) Kante was quite poor today apparently. Drinkwater may only get 10 or so minutes of playing time per match towards the end when they are winning when he's fit again; reckon Conte prefers the others due to more international experience. Yeah Kante was poor, Poorest game I’ve seen him had I think Drinkwater will play in the Fabregas role

Not sure why Conte made him do that, as recently he's been much more effective as a duo with Bakayoko, screening Fabregas. Think Man City were just too good for them today, and Chelsea looked tired.

He played that same position against Atletico Madrid in the week and had a decent game
justfoxes Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Think so far this season is a bit forgettable nothing really to write home about well I suppose the odd bit of decent play out weighed by the shoddy careless crap wonderless pile of dog shit we’ve been dished the last few games !! I think it’s about time we started to play and get our season started before we lose far too much ground on the teams above us !! COME ON LEICESTER PULL YOUR THUMBS OUT OF YOUR ARSES AND GIVE THE FANS SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT INSTEAD OF MAKING US GROAN IN PAIN !!
AjcW Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Think it’s Koemans last chance tomorrow and can definitely see Burnley getting something out of that game! Interesting listening to the totally football show the other day. Koeman almost got a Valencia side with David Silva, David Villa and Juan Matta in it relegated before he was sacked and they ended up 10th...
Jimothy Posted 1 October 2017 Posted 1 October 2017 Missed all of yesterday's action as I was out, so just watching Motd. I agree with everyone saying Kane is going to be a top striker, he's playing really well etc, but I still have one major criticism and that's his awareness of other players. One point in the first half, the Huddersfield keeper completely missed kicking a clearance. Kane pounced on it and turns back onto his right foot away from the keeper. He now has options. First he has Davies steaming in behind him unmarked who's have a free shot on goal. Secondly he has Alli waiting on the edge of the box, centre of the goal, again he'd have a free shot on an open goal. Thirdly he has Eriksson on the edge of the six yard box, again with an open goal. His fourth option is to try and shoot through a keeper standing a few feet away from him. Guess which he picked! Luckily it was 2-0 at the time, but imagine if the needed a goal there. I get strikers are meant to be a bit selfish but they also play for the team, and a bit of teamwork would benefit Spurs. For all the talent in the world, decision making is just as important. Spurs were in cruise control yesterday, so it didn't matter in the end, but if that 0-0 against Man City say, and he does that it could cost them a valuable 3 points and potentially a title.
reynard Posted 1 October 2017 Posted 1 October 2017 How good were Man City? One of the best performances I've seen for quite a while. They may have expensive players but boy do the work hard as well as being able to play great football. They have spent a lot of money but they have blended wonderful talent together into what looks a great team. Chelsea weren't that good but they simply weren't allowed to be. On the other hand we've spent a substantial sum of money for us and look like the players never train together.

sm1 Posted 1 October 2017 Posted 1 October 2017 He did start on the wing for us too. Completely alien position for him but hes so good he can probably play decently in any position. Also kudos to Guadiola, playing Delph at left back away against the champions. Not many managers would be that risky.
