" I don't really see how the club could have such a downturn just because Everton tried to get Silva, unless he said something which peed off the players backstage. Probably should have accepted the money Everton where going to give in compensation.

Granted, Watford under Silva were on a poor run of results as of late, but they're still in the Top Ten and this season sees a lot of mid-table teams getting hammered due to the attacking prowess of Manchester City, Spurs, United, Liverpool and Arsenal...

Many are happy to see the back of him. 2

Not knocking it, it seems to be working ! Yes - the last manager who we were sad to lose was Jokanovic now at Fulham who got us up. Really what we need is a decent medical team and about 6 new players! Certainly off the field the Pozzos have bern excellent for us with a new stand and improved facilities but yes it does seem like chaos on it! Quite how we aren't in the bottom 3-5 is a miracle!!

Strange by Watford to bring up the Everton approach as a reason. Have no idea who they could bring in? Rowett? Pearson?
