I'd be having a punt on Will Hughes for £8 million. If we harbour any intentions of passing the ball more then he'd fit in well.

Will Hughes is a weird one, frustrates Derby fans no end. Seems like he's been around for ages but still really young. £8m is not a lot, there's better out there, but maybe not for that price. Good potential and as said above if we wanted to become a more passing style team, he'd help. Rather Adrien Silva and Sigurdsson though.

If we can't get Iheanacho I would like to see us move for Dembele at Celtic. 

 

Similar age, similar style, similar fee (I reckon) Okay, not as proven as Iheanacho but he done well at Fulham and he's shown he can find the net with Celtic  (albeit in a poor league)

Yeah, I see that's what they're quoting but they've done that with every player they've moved on. They always ask for more than they would take. 

 

Pure and simple, the only way you can make money in the Scottish game is through the sale of player and for a player they got for free (just over a million in compensation) an 18 million profit will allow them to start the whole prelocess again. 

 

I reckon a deal could be made around the 20 mark.

Fernando and Badstuber are both decent shouts. Especially considering one will be free and one for £5m.

So Stoke's derisory bid for Gibson should at least have put his name back in the frame, but there's no thread. He'd be a good shout at c£20m, and possibly better value than Evans in that he should improve over time while Evans is probably at his peak now. Got to be worth a punt Rudders old bean?

If we can't get siggy then I think we should be seriously considering ward-prowse. His passing, crossing and free kicks are fenominal, if he played every game he'd be getting tonnes of assists.

Why would he leave Southampton for Leicester?  It's a sideways move.
