I'm a huge fan of Riyad but I think he might be waiting for a very long time if he's holding out for a move to Barca.

You really are in the wrong forum mate. The clue is in the name Leicester City. We support the club not one single player. So he gets sold for the good of the club not for him.

So the owners are only looking at 400k and thinking toss it we don't need 25 million?

 

Because if we don't get the 50 million bid before deadline day but we have a player who doesn't want to be here and have to pay him 5 million a year we are happy with that?

 

If the only offer on the table is below our valuation on deadline day do we sell or not. I'd get rid personally.

 

As for the barca rumours there own manager has said rb cb and replacing busquets and inestia long term are his priorities.

 

I really don't see them paying the cash for a back up to neymar and messi. The only way they can is one of those leaves and that's only likely to be neymar and mahrez is a terrible replacement judged against that level.

I don't get what you mean by the first bit. I'd sell him for £35-40m. Any less than that we will be getting our pants pulled down. £25m would be an embarrassment!

If that's the case, then he's only got himself to blame really.

 

There were too many matches this season where you could tell his heart wasn't in it, and the performances weren't there. Once that's apparent, it becomes a bit of a gamble for any buying club- 'will we get the attitude/performance levels we want if we sign him?' Etc. At our asking price, it's probably too much of a risk for a lot of clubs.

To me, the ox is a strong upgrade on albrighton. Unless we are able to get in a siggurdson or alternative proper no 10 then we will lose too much creativity changing mahrez for the ox (or similar)

You believe what a manager says when chasing players. Did NP not deny interest in players then sign them.

 

Do you not think if the barca manager said we want Mahrez the price may go up.

No clubs will meet our evaluation n we will end up having our very own payet/west ham situation.

 

3/4 top clubs will want Mahrez n it will open up a bidding war.

Only hoping for him this Barca story has credence other wise this could be an embarrassing situation for young Riyad, Arsenal might not want to be second choice!!
