Clever Fox Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 I was impressed with him from the very first time I seen him play. I think he'll be a great addition to the squad. He needs to learn the defensive side a bit more but with Morgan and Huth to guide him he'll learn quickly I feel. He loves to get forward for Corners and Free kicks so will chip in with a few Goals. Unlike our current CBs he's comfortable with the Ball at his feet and can step into midfield allowing others to take up advanced positions. So yes all looking good, if we get a good young sitting CB in also then we'll be well set for the season.

kingfox Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 How can some fans not be pleased with this signing Was very impressed with him when watching Hull under Silva last season. He looked confident in everything he did, going forward with the ball, timing his tackles, making blocks, making interceptions. What I liked the most is that he shows leadership qualities, wouldn't be surprised if he is our captain within three seasons.

This is why it makes me laugh when you hear promoted championship teams saying they've got a '60 million war chest!!!'. Realistically that's going to get you two, maybe three premiership quality starters, they don't seem to realise how inflated players prices are now 12 million for a player that can slot straight into our squad is chumps change

Maguire for England! Not for me it's a huge commitment for an unproven top 8 team player
