I think him and Vards together will be a nightmare for defenses. I think they are a perfect fit, their movement will give center backs fits. I like how Iheanacho can both drop deep and begin breakouts from his own half and also be lethal at drifting across the opposition defensive line to find space. Defenders will not be able to concentrate on Vardy any more. I see a lot of goals from these two as they compliment each other perfectly. If Riyad stays he will get more space with Iheanacho on the field forcing opposition defenses and defensive midfielders to not overload on Mahrez's side. Something we saw just about every team do last season except Man City at the King Power.

sphericalfox Posted 8 July 2017 Posted 8 July 2017 Just an observation, overall the perception is a positive one, with some over-exhuberant excitement from some, but I'm not getting a feeling other teams out there are reflecting on what a coup this might be. I suppose they'll be pretty much focussed on their own incoming/outgoings and rumours etc, but I'm not seeing much at this stage. I'm sure we'd all hope it stays this way, and a few months into the season we're proving why this could be such good transfer, complimenting and enhancing what we've already got and bring in during the window.

Not to worried, the lad is class. Something like 12 goals from 19 shots last season. Imagine what he can do with minutes.
