This is a massive step for LCFC. Our dealings in the last few windows may not have had the massive immediate impact. But we've signed Maguire, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Gray and Amartey while promoting Barnes and Chilwell from within. We're signing players that will be PL level for the next 10 years.

When I was a kid I wanted Iwan Roberts on the back of my shirt, so my dad took me down Filbert Street to get it done. They'd run out of R's, but rang down the shop on Churchgate to see if they'd got any in. They did, so we drove round, parked up and walked to the shop. They were out of O's.
