surrifox Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 Amidst all that gobbledegook there's nothing to indicate that they will be making a serious offer
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 From what I've seen of Musa, I'd not shed many tears if he left to be honest. I think he's one of quite a few we can do better on.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 Excellent news if true. Feel somewhat sorry for Fenerbahçe but then again, someone has to take him and their fans are thugs. #willdrivehimtheremyself
dormelcfc Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 If we can recoup most of what we paid for him, I wouldn't be against this at all.
desertfox2 Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 He would probably do well in the Turkish league so this could be good all round providing we get a good fee for him.

LCFC probably haven't actually paid that much of the fee. I expect a fair proportion would've been add ons for performances, goals etc which haven't been acheived. It might not take a huge fee to recoup the outlay.

Not really, we all know City have made an approach, but nothing is imminent. Personally when the big boys start to move and things ar ecleared up you will see players move. i.e. Barkley from Everton, who have also shown an interest in him. They will have funds from Lukaku also.

Wymsey Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 Honestly thought he'd be a strong signing. However, it had appeared he had lack confidence in himself and that added to the mentality of not coping under pressure/high expectations. He'll get back again to what he can do more better, but it unfortunately appears he wants to start afresh in pastures new.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 He's that bad, I actually worry for him out in Turkey
UPinCarolina Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 Loan is best for all parties involved. Musa gets regular minutes, we retain the rights, they pay his wages and we can free up the funds for someone else. Opens a spot for one of Barnes/Lawrence/James in the first team. If they want to buy outright, that would be good business assuming we can get the fee. I don't think he's as shit as most posters, but I wouldn't begrudge him a move.
Jattdogg Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 I would fly him there if i was a pilot. He isnt what we need but i could see him doing decent over there.

Thought he looked alright until December where he seemed to forget how to run and therefore became useless. If we can get 16m back then we have been saved.
RoyFox Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 We better not loan him, cash or no deal. Being honest he's not quite good enough for us, so what's the point in a loan as we won't need him back? We'll need two wingers if Mahrez goes, use the cash from the sale.
