Guest MattP Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 Of all the incoherent rants I've seen on here that probably tops the lot @lifted*fox Corbyn works hard? The guy has had an appalling voting record in parliament at times, he's often sat on his allotment rather than in the house. Look at the taxpayer funded jaunts he's been on to see his mates in South America, can't imagine your reaction of Boris did that. If you seriously can't look beyond Tories = bad, Labour = good when it comes to discussion on individual MP's then it's totally pointless. Nothing I've seen from Mogg makes me think he isn't a hard working MP - you decided to castigate him because he's posh and a Tory, it's pathetic tbh. You come on here calling May a bitch and a slag, others pig****ers, you hope Tory voters die and wish horrific death on the people democratically elected by their constituents - then you have the gall after doing that to claim others need to look in the mirror and have lost sight of the greater good? It's beyond laughable to be quite honest.

Donut Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 And to add to that, everyone has bought their shit. Rees-Mogg is desperate to get brexit through because he will get rich off it. So did the people with investment funds who used a polling company funded by Farage to profit on the leave vote. So will donors to the tory party from the Daily Mail who punt out their shit stories. The idea these people have your interests at heart is funny.....theyll get rich while we all suffer, yet theyve convinced you brexit is a brilliant idea because of.........errr..........fish......blue passports.........sovereignty Theyll do anything to further their own careers and wealth, they couldnt give a monkeys toss about you. 2
boots60 Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 May to resign Boris to win party leadership 3 lunatics as world leaders Add even more wannabe world leader lunatics Weapons at the ready Sleep easy

In politics all that matters is competence. This government has incompetence written all over it. You've got crazies on the left out of government and crazies on the right in government. I have seen no one in Westminster who's taken a moderate, sensible, intelligent middle ground. The only vaguely middle ground politician I've seen is Starmer. And although he's got a very impressed CV outside Westminster he's done nothing in it. 2

Donut Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 (edited) Webbo's dream will die if we dont get hard brexit. Poor guy will cry himself to sleep, all that additional fish we cant catch, all that extra trade and manufacturing we will keep Edited 9 July 2018 by Donut
Guest Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 The absolute scenes on here when May beats down any attempt to usurp her from within the party.
Ian Nacho Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 There has to be another election surely. There's been a cabinet reshuffle and that's not worked so the public needs to decide if these idiots can't do it properly.
lgfualol Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 Would anyone even be upset if Brexit got cancelled at this point. Surely hearing a bit of polish in a supermarket is bareable if it means the country doesnt crumble. 2
Foxxed Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 Oh I've just seen Boris has buggered off too. The two biggest Brexiteers, sodded off. The foreign secretary, the minister for Brexit brilliance Twice sodders-off. Firstly when they had the chance to lead the country. Secondly when they had the chance to lead the continue through Brexit. In the two places best to serve our post-Brexit world. The two men who said it would all be fine. That they would make it fine. Gone. Maybe they'll force May out and find someone to do what they could not do. They're brilliant aren't they? I'm glad the country listened to them.
lifted*fox Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 You only have to glance at my posts to see I have a basic understanding of politics I do however have several recognised qualifications in winding up tories, memes and shit-posting.

Problem is current polls would suggest a similar result with no party able to command any sort of stable government or put together a deal that would satisfy enough on one side of the house. We could be in political purgatory for sometime.

Foxxed Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 Is there anyone in the Tory party who can reconcile the two sides? Are they going to elect someone who rips the party apart? Or is the Tory part all kranks now? I'm not keen on this stupid two party system. But I prefer it to a one party system. Is there anyone in the Tory party who your average non political krank would vote for? Twice-a-coward Boris is probably their best bet. He does have funny hair. That does go along way. It's got him this far. History has shown weak political system normally let in the even more crazies who offer an answer and a scapegoat or two.

Tielemans63 Posted 9 July 2018 Posted 9 July 2018 I find the whole thing massively depressing. I voted Remain on the basis that I felt that I just couldn't see anyone of any political persuasion who could deliver a good deal. I've never been ideologically opposed to the concept of Brexit (I'm actually in favour of it) but my suspicion was that it would never work because of the inherent lack of honesty, clarity and intellect among our political elite. Let's be honest, no-one has a ****ing clue what's going on and it's a decision process that has a fundamental effect on all of us and all.of our families- that is totally and utterly unacceptable. Politics in general is just a total ****ing shower in my opinion. The British people are being wholly let down by all political parties. The Tories are incompetent, Labour are a liability and as for the rest of them.... I honestly feel like there's no hope. The country is ****ed as there currently is no party that is capable of leading us competently and the absolute cluster **** that is Brexit has and will only exacerbate that. I appreciate that many won't agree with me but I'm not someone to slavishly follow one party because I always have. I just can't see any good in any of them right now. 3
