no idea how reliable this guy is.

We said we'd double his wages, according to the ever reliable 'Football Manager Mobile 2017' his wages are 44k p/w ... So I guess this must check out.

Can't be arsed taking a screenshot.

Most likely this bloke just gets his info from FM.

I know very little about him but glad we are looking to bring in a more possession based player, we can't continue to be so poor on the ball.

Agree, we have Iborra to add to the improvement we have with Maguire, even more so if we get Gibson, that would be one MF and two CBs who can bring the ball out  comfortably. Though even after the addition of Iborra, I think we need a winger with some class and some vision who can really handle and pass. Scoring would be nice too, but optional. Gray hasn't been that guy, more of an attacker. What we need is someone like the guy we are about to sell to Arsenal, but that gets back on defense consistently. It will balance out our attack and allow our forwards many more opportunities. Though already we might be seeing more scoring opportunities just by virtue of having more consistent possession via the ability to move the ball fwd and protect it.

From what I can gather by trawling all the media outlets going..... Fee agreed. Personal terms discussed and agreed in principle, just needs to sign up. Medical due to take place soon. I reckon this will be announced on Thursday. Apparently he's then going to 'return' to say good bye to Seville and the fans there!

£85k a week probably helped him make his decision lol

Let's hope he's worth it.

A team full of captains was my observation two seasons back. As some are near retirement to pastures new, and others will step back, hopefully Iborra he can step in, and give us a needed gee up in the midfield that's been lacking recently.

I'm starting to hit a certain age, trains pass and it was the moment to take it. I'm thinking about the future of my family and that's what makes me change team, but if it were for another reason I wouldn't have done it.

Translates to, I'm leaving because of the salary.

Oh defo. I think he'll be a good signing. That's a lot of money though.

It's bugger all in the market really. If it's an enabler for others in the team, and will help bring on some of the younger players too, then the outlay is worth it.

Guys, we need to be shifting our perception of value in this market. Whatever you perceive to be a player's value in 2010-2015 terms, times it by ten and you're looking at a realistic expectation.

Market forces have caused this - and if there's any club who can take the hit at the moment it's ours.

Im hoping we go out and spend to compete because it's only going to get worse, and our incoming won't include CL money like it has done recently.

Foreign clubs also know English clubs have the money so they like to rip us off.

Looks like Jamie Vardy is now no longer the best looking bloke in the squad !!

Iborra has got nice eyes. He can sit next to Matty James and we'll have the best looking bench duo in the PL.
