No not really.

No RB back up and still not enough creativity imo especially if Mahrez does leave.

If we get Iheanacho, Ziyech and Gibson/Evans, I would be 100% be happy. So will hold judgement as we are working on at least 2 of those.

Would be happy if we were linked with a RB. No signs just yet. If we play 442 still I'll be pissed off if we avoid buying one again, as Amartey is no way a right-back and I'm not having Maguire there.

Creative player needed even if Mahrez stays. Sell some unneeded players.

Yes.......so far, on two counts:

1) Maguire and Iborra look like very good signings. Iheanacho looks like another, if it happens. But we need to see them in action in our team/squad for a while - and to see how they fit in with our tactics.

2) We probably need at least a couple more signings, assuming Mahrez goes & Kasper and the rest stay: a wide or creative attacking player & a right back alternative to Simmon, maybe a quick one who can play overlapping tactics

Assuming Iheanacho's arrival we seem to be hitting some of our targets and I've reasonable optimism that we will land some more. On top of that we'd seem to have at least a couple of new arrivals from our own development squad by way of a bonus.

We do need more - right back cover for sure, one (at least) or even two wingers, a genuinely creative central midfielder/free-kick specialist and some might say another centre-back - and perhaps, though I hope not - we may eed a quality goalkeeper.

But we've got as much as I anticipated so far because these things don't all happen at once or at our convenience.

Overall Id be happy enough with how it's gone so far.

Been a busy few weeks and we haven't gone a bit overboard like we did last summer. Although with champions league it was understandable.

More surprised that we haven't lost any of the players expected to go yet.

Tough start but maybe 1 or 2 more signings in the next month and we'll be good to go.

Where have we ever been linked to Ziyech?

I don't really feel like much has happened in the league, so compared to everyone else we're doing fine I think. Only Everton have gone mental, and then they turned the gun on themselves by signing Rooney.

I'm kinda worried that the defence just isn't very good still.

I'm happy with the business we've done so far. Think we've made two excellent first team additions in Maguire and Iborra, both in positions we needed some serious strengthening. At good prices too for the current market. On top of that we've also added a good youngster in Hughes to the u/23s and addressed the void left by Shakespeare as he moved up the ladder by bringing in a top coach and good personality in Appleton.

In an ideal world perhaps one or two more in before pre-season started would've been good. However this is more of a problem, as last season proved, when players move from abroad. Should we add the likes of Iheanacho, Evans and Sigurdsson it will be less of a problem. Plus, this all stems from the length of time taken to appoint Shakespeare and I'd rather we spent time getting that right before signing a shed load of players anyway.

I think it is going well so far and I agree with most replies.

We should consider the following:

RB - competition for Simpson, who has been excellent, but we can't go another season without proper backup/competition and someone who can attack a bit more if 3-5-2 is an option

CB - another CB, probably a young guy who can understudy Huth & Morgan, while I anticipate Maguire will start alongside Huth, if 4-4-2, and the young CB will rotate with Morgan if 3-5-2

RM - especially if Mahrez leaves, I think the young guys are a bit too raw to go a whole season with consistency

I hope we get Ihaenacho, I don't think we need another CM (creative or not), I think with Iborra coming in the centre is well covered, I think Ihaenacho will bring some creativity through the centre, if he plays the 10 role he says he favours. Also, I think with the directness of Chilwell and skillfulness (albeit very greediness!) of Gray, I think we have quite a bit of creativity in midfield wide positions, and Ihaenacho to provide it in the middle.

Yes, overall, its about a 7/10 if KI signs. The potential loss of Mahrez is a worry, ditto Kasper, but we've added to the spine of the team which was much needed - Iborra and Maguire.

Compared to last summer's car crash this has been a breath of fresh air so far

Depends who's next after Iheanacho (assuming that's going ahead.)

A top young forward to upgrade on Shinji, a promising young centre half that's good enough to start and some quality depth at centre mid is a great start.

But to echo everyone else, there's still big holes.

I'd want a winger of at least the quality of our other signings if Riyad goes, a quality right back that's not just back up to Simpson but an improvement and probably still another CB.

Agree with this 100%. A creative midfielder as well for me, but can't really see it now we've got Iborra.

After signing Maguire, Iborra & hopefully Iheanacho we still need:

GK - Replace Zieler if he leaves

RB - Competition for Simpson

CB - Replace Benalouane

If Lawrence/Gray aren't ready to seriously push Mahrez/Albrighton for a starting place then imo we need another creative winger.

Mate, there's a 74 page thread on a bloke that no-one's really linked us to lol

There's a ridiculous amount of tabloid talk linking us to Sigurdsson and several of Foxestalk's "itks" have claimed we're interested.

It could be absolutely rubbish still but there's an obvious connection.

I've not seen Ziyech linked to us anywhere.

Just seemed an odd criteria for a successful window.

If we get Ihaenacho I'd be chuffed. Not arsed what Mahrez does either way.

we've done alright so far but nothing spectacular! we've acquired a promising defender and an experienced midfielder but with no experience of the Premier league and if we get Ihaenacho who is a young striker who can score goals that would be great. still would be great if we could strengthen some more!

Happy so far (assuming KI signs).

Will be disappointed if there's no more to follow after though.

Not at the minute. All very well being linked with every player in the world, but we need to see some of these deals being sealed.
