If Iheanacho goes through and the window closed immediately (ie we kept Mahrez), we would have had a better window then Everton IMO, who's bought a million players but sold their best player. Still need RB backup but it isn't a major issue.

7/10 for me

Pretty happy, especially compared to clubs around us who haven't really got started yet. (Except Everton who are surely planning on playing a 4-8-2 formation next season)

Bit more legs in defence and a smidge more composure and creativity to replace Shinji and we're good to go.

Maguire looks a promising signing. If we add Messi, Aubameyang and resign Kante then it will have been a good window.

Replace big Wes with Bonucci?

I think it's been better than this time last year. Potentially it could be our best ever.

Ultimately, we will have to wait until the end of the transfer window to say for sure, especially as this year I could see some last minute drama surrounding Mahrez. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the top 4 feels like they haven't made a marquee signing and sign him even though he's not right for them, which would give us little time to replace him. He might have had a stinker last season, but don't forget the X-Factor this man provided weekly for us when we achieved the impossible!

I think the squad we have right now is already pretty good, but if we get it right we can push for positions 6-8th.

There's ****ing ages left until the window closes and we've already made two decent signings. I've got total faith in Shakey.

Too early to say, but so far I'm pleased with Maguire and (potentially) Ihenacheo.  Don't know much about Iborra.

There is obviously a big hole where we all think Siggurdsson should be but it seems clear that he doesn't want to come so short of some rohypnol and a transit van he's not coming.  Not the club's fault.

Would like to see a few offloaded such as Leo, Musa, Mendy and Mahrez.

Nearly.

We needed a centre half - addressed that. Probably need another one too.

Pleased we've been linked with a good centre forward (Iheancho) and a good creative midfielder (Sigurdsson).

No not really.

No RB back up and still not enough creativity imo especially if Mahrez does leave.

Think we will play 3-5-2 most of the time anyway so RB is not essential apart from defending games where we ill play 4-4-2

As above I too will be happy if we keep our key players (and we all know who they are) and sign Iheancho plus one more centre back.

However £50m for Siggy is a joke. Amazed at the BBC article that we've already bid £40m - though imo we still desperately need a #10

With the two we've got and hopefully the third on his way, I'm happy so far.

If the window closed now without Mahrez or Kasper leaving I would think we had done well.

I would like to see one possibly two more additions though and IF Mahrez and/or Kasper leave I would like to think we would get very busy very quickly in getting in suitable replacements.

Heard that we bid 40m for Siggy and they turned it down.

If true, good on ya LCFC...if that ain't a statement of intent, nowt is.

Swansea can bollox now..greedy bar stewards.

Would rather give our most-talented youth midfielders an opportunity than pay over the odds for Sigurdsson.

I think there's got to be a cut off. I'd love Sigurdson here but we can't be held to ransom to that extent.

Nope. I really want the management to prove me wrong, but thus far we're set to push for forty points once again.

There's time and money, so I can hope, but as I was never in the 'Shaky for the job' club I'm struggling to fire up the positivity wagon.

Really?  Who would have been your choice of manager and why would they be better than shakey?

Also which players do you think we could have realistically brought to the club other than those we have and continue to be linked with ie iheanacho,Evans/Gibson,and siggy?

I'm not having a go here by the way I'm just genuinely interested to hear what you say.

Compared with last summer I'm over the moon.

We seem to be showing ambition and doing business in a good way, obviously signings can go either way that remains to be seen but so far I'm happy with the way things are going albeit a year too late, sorry, I had to get that in!

Is my memory playing tricks on me? IIRC most were satisfied at the end of last summer window apart from some disappointment due to not snagging Silva. Musa, Slim & Mendy were thought to be good business.

No it's not you are correct!!

I don't have any problem with Slimani whatsoever, Musa could still go either way but if we could get our money back now I'd sell and as for Mendy he has stated publicly he wants out after his "wasted year in England " picking up good wages for sod all so We should get rid asap.

It wasn't great, I thought it was very 'meh' window, I hadn't heard much of or seen much/anything of Musa, Slimani or Mendy, Musa looked very promising from what i'd seen in the friendlies, Mendy we hoped to be a replacement for Kante, how naive we were, Slimani I thought was a panic buy and the time but thought he'd be ok and that thought remains apart from I don't think he'll be ok.

We hadn't got anyone in to replace or back up a quite clearly aging defence, hindsight is a wonderful thing and it become very clear in hindsight but it needed looking at before the season started anyone could tell you that.

I thought there was very little to get excited about last summer (Obviously there was alot to be excited and buzzing about but i'm talking about lack of excitement on the transfer front).

It was a bad window at the time but I thought we'd get by, we didn't get by and a bad window turned out to be an awful window, so many missed opportunites and as i've said many times when we were at our pinnacle, our strongest point in history, the biggest pull we've ever had we managed to get weaker - unforgivable.

I'd best shut up else i'll get moaned at for going on about last summer and we're not allowed to talk about how bad it was.
