We've got nearly a full A side out and we sound like utter dog-wank. We should be out there at near to full fitness looking to put the shit up these to start getting our heads right and in the mood to make tracks when the PL starts. We are going to be ****ing rubbish this season, mark my words. Piss poor recruitment and the same old, same old. I was all for Shakespeare getting the job but I'm almost certain it'll be a move we regret. Maybe we did need someone new and someone fresh to shake things up because we are VERY VERY one dimensional and even that one dimension is ****ing shit, busted, predictable and tired. It's not rubbish, whether we end up struggling or not, pre season games are no indicator. We struggled when we won the championship, we struggled when we won the prem and we had the same predicable meltdowns on here.

Wrighty22 Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 We're in for another loooooong season if this game is anything to go by.
The Floyd Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 Awful. Fuchs, Drinkwater, Simpson and Albrighton urgently need replacing if we want to develop as a team.

I'm not sure if we're playing so shit that it's making you look good, or if you're actually pretty good. Either way you look quite sharp and fit to me...
Brooksy Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 This is concerning but its pretty pathetic that some of you want him sacked based on a few friendlies.
TheMightySystem Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 The midfield isn't linking or supporting the attack at all. Both drinkwater and Ndidi seem scared to carry the ball up the pitch.
Blue ROI Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 Maybe we're saving ourselves for the opening few league and we'll find our best form. That's all I'm clinging to right now.....
VLC86 Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 I've got a brilliant stream where the summariser speaks in a completely different language to the commentator.
mozartfox Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 I do hope Rudders is trying to recruit. If he fails, then it is going to be a long season of frustration.
foxes21 Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 Has Shakespeare told them to take it easy, or are they just that unfit? We aren't even trying a high press.
chapero82 Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 This is worrying we are less than 2 weeks away from Arsenal

Tbf I wanted him sacked 3 minutes after he was appointed. But I agree that basing it on friendlies is silly, might as well at least wait until we get mugged off at home by Brighton before we get the white hankies out
hejammy Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 OK so if or when mahrez leaves and we don't end up getting iheanacho, it will end up being a very..... Interesting season I reckon

The only excuse I can make for this is that we are largely based on our intensity in our game, and that's one thing you generally won't have as much in pre-season. If we treat the Gladbach game like a competitive game, play our proper game and beat them then I'll be a lot more at ease. So far though I think we've looked garbage in every friendly bar West Brom and even that was only a good opening half hour.
ZeGuy Posted 29 July 2017 Posted 29 July 2017 Notice that since Slim is out we lost any kind of dangerosity forward. Shinji is completely lost on the pitch, only chasing shadows.
