ClaphamFox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Hold your hats, everyone - as stupid as it sounds, this rumour is doing the rounds on twitter this morning. According to reports, Drinkwater is 'in talks' with Chelsea and wants the move. Almost certainly BS, I know, but it is being reported on.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Chelsea looking for a benchwarmer then? Hope he doesn't go but if he does he's replaceable, IMO
Fox92 Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 As if. One 14 year old kid sat in his bedroom puts this on twitter and then everybody takes it as something.
Jattdogg Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 and beyonce wants to shag me silly every day from now until eternity
bpfox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 would be at least 5-6 behind 1st choice midfielders, if true the bloke has rocks in his head, no matter what they are paying.
foxy boxing Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 thanks for the laugh much appreciated! . resuming his partnership with Kante no doubt!

ousefox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 It's not that unrealistic. He did win the league next to their current central midfielder. Drinkwater is massively underrated on this forum.
Gerard Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 He was brilliant for us up until about November last year, utter doggo since then. Perhaps it's a Kante recommendation as he might have him as the best CM he's played with. I'd be happy to sell if we got a £20m offer, it would sort a few problems out for us to let him go.

AKCJ Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 If we get more than we get Adrien Silva for then I'd sell and get the Portuguese in.
RoboFox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... The source! Yep, that's right. IndyKaila. He / They are grade-A Twitter bulls**t peddlers. Nothing to see here. NEXT.
volpeazzurro Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 He's not good enough for Chelsea. He was only just good enough for us for parts of last season but some of that was largely due to him not having a decent sidekick.
nnfox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 If Drinkwater has any ambition whatsoever and wants to make the plane to Russia, then he stays here and fights for regular first team football.
Jattdogg Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Lock the thread. Beyonce will need to direct her grievances in the missed opportunity thread now
Ian Nacho Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Probably got one of them pictures from Facebook to create a transfer rumour. Used his birthday and last two digits of his phone number to make it up.

People go on about getting more creativity in our side but even if we kept Mahrez and signed Iheanacho who do they expect to be replaced for that creativity? Simpson, Albrighton or Drinkwater? That's assuming we still have Ndidi, Mahrez, Iheanacho and Vardy in the first XI.
