Dont always have to buy just because we might be selling someone...

Makes sense though if the player you are selling is a regular starter.

Mahrez announced publicly that he wanted to leave 2 months ago.

Drinkwater was only linked with Chelsea this week.

Was tongue in cheek ... sure Mahrez must have got a few more pages in the first week than Danny did.

Don't shoot the messenger talking to someone at the club this evening, it seems that Drinkwater has had his head turned by Chelsea.  Apparently bid received of 25 million.

He going 100% will be done by Tuesday,

If Chelsea want him the will pay anything, thats how transfers go now

demand 40 million and then sign Silva for 25 million

that would be a superb bit of business.

Really don't want to lose Drinky. PLay hardball.

If we do though, and tbh I can't believe I'm suggesting this as I've slaughtered him for years, but Wilshere is good at keeping the ball and might work well behind our quick forward line.

I suppose Wilshere could play the "Mendy" role lol

Big fan of Drinkwater but if wants to go fair enough, however I would stand firm until a bid of 35m comes in. I think that's fair for an England international and Premier League winner.

If he can get back to playing like he did in the title winning season then I don't want him to go.  If he doesn't improve on last season then good luck not starting at chelsea and coming on for 10 mins at 4-0 up.  He was rubbish all year until he actually started to run forward with the ball again and passed to Vardy in the Sevilla game.

Carrying an injury or not he was frustrating last season, he would just knock the ball around the CB's and then punt up field.  Last night James looked to give and go while Ndidi would drive forward carrying the ball.

I would be happy with Ndidi/James/Iborro but we do need that extra level of quality that someone like silva can bring.

Can we please stop talking about ****ing Silva?

He was a target under Ranieri. You should have noticed that the club hasn't been remotely interested in following up any of his other targets this summer and there is no link to Silva. It isn't going to happen.

We seemed overloaded in central midfield. Now with drinky going we will be relying on AK, an unproven Iborra (in PL ) and Matty James (who has a questionable injury record through his career) to support wilf. suddenly we don't look so overloaded!!!

Don't want to loose him, but can't see how we could turn down +30m offer for a midfielder who blows hot and cold every other season.

We have James and Barnes waiting in the wings and have signed Iborra already.

Don't get me wrong would love him to stay but he is not as crucial to our jigsaw as he once was.
