Drinkwater

Depends which Drinkwater they are buying . If they are buying the one that can't pass for toffee and keeps giving the ball away they are welcome to him . If it's the one  that was a complete machine in our title winning year then I wouldn sell him in a month of Sundays .

He wants to leave we don't want to sell him.

lets see how this plays out.

Chelsea are 100% in for him.

Complete and absolute poppycock !!!!!!

Let him go. If he wants to go and sit on Chelsea's bench good luck to him.

That's if he even makes the bench, Kante, Bakayoko and Fabregas are all better options

You must have a cast iron source or that post is a crock of crap, which is it?

If there was any way we could do a swap deal involving Drinkwater and Fabregas that would be incredible

It really would be incredible because none of this is ever going to happen!

This smacks of 'Drinkwater signs new 5 year deal' wages upped to parity of Leicesters 100k a week earners. Agent happy with outcome...

If he goes, put that money straight into getting either Siggy, or Adrien Silva.

We have had our moneys worth out of DD, but he seems out of favour and should go with our blessings.

With Chelsea he stands a good chance of going to the World Cup. Who could deny him that?

I wouldnt be against selling Drinkwater at the right price but we would need a replacement lined up. And if we were to lose Drinky and Mahrez in the same window it would be very difficult to replace both with the quality we would need. Drinkwater was awful last season but was immense when we won the league. If he does stay, let's hope he can recapture his previous form

Could argue he would get more game time here which makes him more likely to be selected

l believe the interest because of the partnership with kante but Drinkwater likes to be the main man and he won't get that there and he won't play every game. But he'd win trophys, be on more money and probably start for England so it depends what he wants. I'd stand firm on 38M  ish because if he and Mahrez go we're in deep trouble.

If Drinky does go to Chelsea, then I'd be looking to recoupe extra money for us after getting ripped off when they stole Kante from us... And it's another £50 million or no deal!!

Drinkwater is the only midfielder we've got that will pick up the ball, turn and drive.

I do not want to let him go.

But I don't believe all this rumour to Chelsea anyway.

I can't remember the last time I saw him do that

I wouldn't be sad to see him move on to a 'real' club like Chelsea for £30mn. He has been crap since his injury at the front end of last season. He seems to be the only one who reacted badly to the passing of the godfather. I've seen enough backpasses from him lately, often dissecting our defence straight to the keeper, I do think we can do with less of that. It only encourages everyone else to play hoofball as the only way to get the damned thing north of the half way line.

I've never seen him do that, he's only had one good year and it would be fair to argue that was down to kante lol

Chelsea’s £37m bid for Danny Drinkwater has been accepted by Leicester According to Standard Sports, the England midfielder, is expected to undergo medical with the Premier League champions on Monday.

Drinkwater is absent from Leicester’s squad to face Borussia Mönchengladbach this weekend, as he has traveled to London to finalize terms.

Blues boss Antonio Conte, sees the 27-year-old as a possible replacement for Nemanja Matic, who has joined Manchester United in a £40m deal.

Conte has already brought in Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco, but the Italian wants to sign another midfielder.

Drinkwater was an integral part of the Leicester team, that won the title in 2015/2016 and his performances earned him a call-up to the England squad in March 2016.

Last summer, N’Golo Kante, who partnered Drinkwater in that title-winning Leicester midfield, joined Chelsea  for £30m and has won the league title last season.
