About another £30m income each year from tickets, shirts, sponsorships etc.

There was a cash balance of £31m in the 15/16 accounts.

 

Wages will have jumped significantly since the title win, but are still "only" likely to be around the £100m mark. Our turnover last year was probably £230-£240m.

 

We could do with trimming some fat from the squad, and I'm sure we will do. But I don't think it's a case of needing the money. Not this season anyway.

Nuge and Wood were about £4m and £3m respectively; Kramaric went for around £9m;

Kante went for £32m

Zieler went for £2M and Hernandez went for £1.5m I think. 

 

So that's a decent income of £65m plus, most of which was pure profit. 

 

Of course we were fined £50m for inflicting Gary Taylor Fletcher on someone else, so its swings and roundabouts.

Kram I think we paid around £15m for and the rest off the fees probably covered the wages of those other players to I wouldn't say it was pure profit, not a loss but def not pure profit

Upfront we got about £10m for the lot (it says so in the accounts). A lot will probably be extras.

It's a tough situation really as its hard to judge the future however and in reality that 200m aint coming in every season and we have the opportunity to sell two players we paid 1m for for £35m+ each... surely one will go

We also got £13 million for Jeffrey Schlupp which pretty much paid for Ndidi.

 

There's at least £30 million we ought to get for moving on the likes of Musa, King, Ulloa, Benalouane and Mendy, possibly £40 million.
