gw_leics772 Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40873034 Roma still want Mahrez - but are looking elsewhere. In other news - Leicester still want Neymar - but also can't afford it, but dont keep talking about it.

I would love the club to simply not entertain anything below £50m. We're not willing sellers, we're only selling because Mahrez wants to leave. He also has three years left on his contract, we should be in no rush to offer a cut price deal. Exactly

Nice of them to up their offer to £27.1m when the asking price is £50m and then come out with this bullshit. "At the moment, the club is very close to the limit and I believe our offer is very significant," said Monchi. Fuch off Monchi and take your begging bowl elsewhere, Mahrez is obviously out of your league. We should offer them Musa or Lawrence as it's more in line with their budget.
Callabinho Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 I reckon he will end up at Liverpool, with Coutinho costing as much as he is will free up £50m.....
ARM1968 Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 Love to see him at Liverpool. Klopp will make the fucher work so hard he won't need hair gel.
Strokes Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 Why do we even entertain these paupers, it's pitiful.
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 Roma are an absolute joke of a club. Hardly the dream move Mahrez is looking for. Hope we've told them to sling their hook.

Good job the owners don't think like you. Are they fvcking retarded? It's £50m or nothing. Take it or leave it. Stop fannying around with stupid bids that'll get rejected. They really think we're naive and stupid, it's kinda cute actually.

I honestly think we'll let him go a bit cheaper abroad, with a bit of luck it may start a bidding war.

This isn't trying to squeeze a few million more for someone like Musa, Mendy or Slimani who I suspect we'd happily sell for the right offer. I really hope the club just reject anything shy of £50m. As I said we're reluctant sellers and we're getting rid of one of our very best players who still has three years left on his contract. Tell them the price is £50m and don't bother coming back unless that's your offer. Remember when they offered £20m on what was basically a loan to buy.
Almo-Fox Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 it is said that monchi who came from Sevilla as DS is dealing for the first time with bids over 20 m € so he is really giving his heart to sign ryad mahrez so he changed his mind from yesterday declarstion and did propose 36 m £ plus adds on = 40 m € + bonuses

I hope that's not true but who knows whats going on with the Leicester and Roma hierarchy? If Mahrez did end up at Roma he could easily have a great season and be sold for £100m+ within a year.
Finn Claw II Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 I'd hold out and sell on deadline day to someone desperate for £50m+

Ah, I can't see the owners taking £35m for Mahrez. I reckon if it was £40-£45m then they'd probably accept, but not £35m. If a deal is going to happen and we need to buy a replacement, it needs to be soon, there's only like 20 days of the transfer window left.
mikey54 Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 If we were to accept £40m then I would demand a percentage of any profit should he then be sold on. 100% would be sufficient I think
rico Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 ROMA FIRM ON STROOTMAN Juventus have bid €30m (£27m) for former Manchester Unitedtarget Kevin Strootman, according to Tuttosport. However, Roma are standing firm on their valuation of the Netherlands international and are demanding €45m (£40m).

foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 August 2017 Posted 9 August 2017 £27 million is what they consider significant! and close to their limit, they just can't afford him... that is possibly only half of what I would accept
