Because when they bought him back to the training ground and unwrapped him, they realised it was Daniel Sturridge and they are waiting for Fedex to come and take the parcel back.

Because we take months to complete medicals but still sign them injured.

 

Not slagging him off but seems a trend we sign players with injuries/underlying injuries, coincidence i'm sure, it's just frustrating.

(Inler, Mendy, Slimani, Iheanacho to name but a few recently of the top of my head)

because he can still play 10-20 mins from the bench even if he is not fully fit to play 90. that's obvious isn't it?
