If the club push Shakey out in front of the media to face all the questions about this, it's even more embarrassing for them.

I personally think Shakey deals very well with the press, I'm sure he'll field any questions in a dignified manner. Can you imagine Pearson lol?

Mercury using the Guidetti example to suggest there may be hope for the Silva situation....

Still no news then!

Mercury seem quite confident ...  do they know something ????    :o

I've owned 3 houses and sold them all and now have a place in the middle of nowhere which as a result has ridiculously low rent - far less than a mortgage on it would cost...

I also may go live in a different country at some point so its swings and roundabouts depending on what you want.

Of course, as I said it depends on your circumstances, I do question the research that says it costs the same to rent as buy over your lifetime.

Maybe not. Part of the FIFA top level coaching is a few funny run press conferences and a journalist friend of mine that's been used for the process says Shakespeare cane out as one of the best performances for that part they'd seen.

Me neither ..   but can't help thinking FIFA will never back down ..  perhaps they are teaching us a lesson for leaving Europe ...       B@STARDS !!!!!  (I feel better now).

No, someone's Mrs works for Andrew Granger, she did the rental ageement with him.

I bet he is really happy she is so professional in her job and spouts out client's  personal business so you can then do the same on here.?

If course it is but so is the last 105 pages on this thread. Common sense says if they had an airtight case they would have appealed by now rather than holding days of internal meetings.

Nobody anywhere has suggested they have an airtight case. And it isn't what you said before either.

Knighton Grange Road/Stoughton Drive South  - plenty of pads worth £1.5m+

For sure, just not sure i'd class that as oadby as I lived in the area you mention there too and it was more 'Stoneygate'

I'm from Oadby myself, true it's on the cusp, most are within the Oadby & Wigston Borough Council.

And a lot of the kids also went to Manor High School in Oadby - as did I (though not from those posh areas as was part of the 'Copse Close Massive')

The three things I've learnt through 100+ the Adrien Silva transfer debacle:

1) Nothing

2) The value of the Pound against the Euro

3) House prices in Leicestershire

Also, that I should probably get a hobby.

Our house is a very very very fine house. With two cats in the yard, life used to be so hard, but everything is easy cos of you, Adrien Silva (assuming the appeal is successful and he doesn't do an Inler.)

I went to Manor too, although lived in the rougher part of Oadby!

Exactly, the club will collate all the information and take legal advice rather than just attack FIFA half cocked the morning after. I'd imagine by now our lawyers have gone through the exact wording of the laws and regulations and are fully aware of all similar cases.

I think we get this through on appeal. There will be little appetite for FIFA to refuse this as no one gains from it and it looks terrible that FIFA are punishing a player with effectively a half season ban through no fault of his own.

FIFA's PR is already terrible with the bribing scandal and awarding World Cups to Russia and Qatar so persecuting a player isn't going to help that. They should give Leicester a small punishment instead and maybe limit us to one purchase in the January transfer window.

Or just give us a fine so they can line their pockets a bit more.

Apparently weve found similar case , 2014 Gudetti Mancity/Celtic , registration arrproved after deadline  by FIFA following appeal, possible hope? or clutching at straws?

Neither have I.

Unlike some of the white flag merchants on here telling us rules are rules, etc.
