MikeyT Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Rob Dorsett @RobDorsettSky 46m46 minutes ago More Shakespeare on Silva: "let the lawyers get on with it. I don't understand it. I'd love to have him but he hasn't trained with us yet." #lcfc

How true is the stuff about him getting a house as seems strange that the club would string him along. Can only imagine he isn't training as who actually owns him and is responsible for any injuries he may pick up would be a grey area.
st albans fox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Just now, Trav Le Bleu said: So... Does this also mean he can't train with the team either? I think the club are nervous to appear to be taking for granted a positive response from FIFA to any appeal so are keeping their distance from him. Once we accept publically that he is our player- even if he isn't internationally cleared, he will train with us.

I haven't seen any statement or quote from FIFA yet. Instead just the Media making an assumption to what FIFA are saying.

LegendOfJoe Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 if rumour has it Silva is watching the chelsea game, he's probably feeling a little nervous about everything...maybe get a generic Silva chant going around the ground????
Bingleyman Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 I'm up for that Make him feel wanted Let's do it

SheppyFox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 We should give him a big welcome tomorrow, make him see how much we want him to represent our club

cityfanlee23 Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Can't we agree a Mutual termination for no compensation for the player then sign him on a free transfer? Could we not have just offer Drinkwater on a Loan deal after the window with a buyout clause at the end and signed Silva hours before the window? Why is this even happening, it was 14 seconds ffs
the fox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 I made up my mind, I don't want the team to do any more business with the current sporting board! They pretty much blackmailed us on 2 out of the 2 players we got from them! I hate dealing with those lot! This is slimy ! The way they are going in more that one tweet to point out the price and the sell-on clause like they are rubbing it on our faces .??

I'm not sure I want us to do any more business with the current 'team' (See, i've gone past blaming just Rudkin) who conduct our business. Inept. Upgrade, please!

IIRC, you can't sign a player after he becomes a free-agent while the window is closed, take sagna to example, he was a free-agent before the window closed so we can sign him.

Long Eaton Fox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 As he's going to be at the game, maybe the club will a spring a surprise announcement that FIFA have given the go ahead for him to play
wardyfox86 Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Loan him to someone in Turkey quick-sharp, and get on the blower to Joe Ledley as an alternative best we can hope for...
