Silva yesterday took on a rental in Oadby for £5k a month. Leicester aren't backing out of the deal, but sadly it seems he'll have to wait until Jan to play. At least he'll have bedded in properly by then, still a snip at £22m considering the market.

lollol you and them twitter links of yours can find anything out!

Oh Babs - lol

I've got friends in London paying that for a posh box - its really not that extravagant.

I just think he's crazy to move to Oadby - I'd so be out in rural Leicestershire!

I'm as tight as a ducks arse... that's a lot of money to chuck down the drain lol

Be interesting when Shakey does his pre-match press conference today when the media start asking him about Silva (and they will), lets hope someone from the recruitment team is there to answer the questions but I wouldn't bet on it.

No chance he will give anything away, he will say exactly what we already know, its gone to appeal, we did everything right we are awaiting a reply.

I used to think like that but lots of research now shows it costs about the same over a lifetime to rent as it does to own - I like the freedom of renting and having no dependants to pass on material wealth too - there seems little point.

You can have this for half the price...

How many rooms does he need, must be the Von Trapp family moving over.

Only thing I can think is it'll be on the edge of Great Glen/Oadby

I put in the search engine Leicester with a radius of 10 miles.

Depends on your situation, but I went from renting to buying and my outgoings  dropped by a third despite having a nicer place and a repayment mortgage so I was paying less and a chunk of that went into equity on the property. Obvioulsy stamp duty and fees account for a portion of that. I also can't be evicted by a landlord who decides he wants to sell up. Adrien's a mug if you ask me, he should have bought Vardy's old pad.

It's not neither here nor there to a Premiership footballer though. I'm sure he has a nice pad in Lisbon.

Having grown up there... where the **** is there to rent for 5K in Oadby?!?!?!

Knighton Grange Road/Stoughton Drive South  - plenty of pads worth £1.5m+

They must have been quick taking it down off the website, nothing on Andrew granger or Rightmove. They must have acted quick to allow the player some anonymity, they seem such a professional bunch.

If the club push Shakey out in front of the media to face all the questions about this, it's even more embarrassing for them.

I've owned 3 houses and sold them all and now have a place in the middle of nowhere which as a result has ridiculously low rent - far less than a mortgage on it would cost...

I also may go live in a different country at some point so its swings and roundabouts depending on what you want.

i'm expecting him to take the line that he's been told he can't comment due to legal advice.
