2 in 1 shower gels do not do any of the advertised tasks that well so I dread to think what a 5 in 1 shower gel would be like.

Didnt think it was an unpopular opinion until I read the last couple of pages lol

Coffee shop culture is an abomination and the scourge of UK towns and cities.

Living close to central London, I know how bad it's become. You can't take ten steps in any direction and not run into one.

The country is absolutely saturated with them, and I can't understand why people continue to flock to them in droves in order to pay upwards of £4 for a f**king coffee.

Unfortunately, the way the high street is going, the alternative is an empty retail place.

But is it worse than seeing these same shops either boarded up or filled with endless charity/betting/cash4gold shops who don't have the money or desire to keep said outlets in decent condition for the streets?

I'd like to think at least these places are boosting private enterprise and helping the streets they're on if nothing else, and this from someone who despises coffee!

You're being far too reasonable.

You know what would make all these coffee shops great?  If they sold wine and beer.

Yes, but that'll likely affect the family-owned businesses that sell them.

Funny really because people used to meet at the pub - now they meet for a 'Costa' instead.

Coffee shops are our the new public houses

That's the truth. News report on pubs closing down this morning.

The 'you can't have any fun' brigade continue their relentless pursuit of a meaningful life for all......

Can't fathom being angry about having options for a nice tasty drink. Proper weird lifeforms

You won’t be getting a tasty drink if you’re going Starbucks or Costa.

Went in places like that when I was in Rome. I'd love to be able to open something like that here.

Just open a pub that also sells coffee - just like the old days
