Jim White is just absolutely annoying. Jordan actually thinks he’s smart which for me makes him worse. I can’t think of a more self righteous sounding person.

I enjoy listening to him tbh. I can see why people think he's a bit smug but he's clearly well educated and understands business. I think he brings lots of different insights and isn't afraid to challenge people.

He’s just so obnoxious. He’s smart in the sense that he uses big words all the time. And I’ve never once heard him admit to being wrong or concede to someone else’s wisdom. For me that’s a big no no.

I like smug when it's backed up with the knowledge he has.

 

Though I suspect he becomes less knowledgeable as he time passes and he understands less about the backroom elements of club ownership. Give him 5 years and he will be an insufferable dinosaur.

He should join general chat on FT. Some proper big words in there at times. Doesnt necessarily tally with useful discussion I find.

Haha I mean in the sense that he purposefully uses big words to look more intelligent. I remember my A Level English teacher saying “why use a 14 letter word when a four letter word will do?” and it kinda stuck with me. He’s clearly an intelligent man. I just find him annoying.
