Would love to see a Man City at home esc performance on Saturday. Show them no respect.

Or just exactly how we performed against them at home last season, we took them apart.

They have a huge CL game in Moscow midweek so I hope Klopp makes that game his priority.

Here's hoping

we need to get into them with our high tempo game that we occasionally bring to the table

Providing Vardy is fit, this would be my team. Feeling Ndidi needs a rest, and Albrighton possibly.

Schmeichel

Simpson Morgan Maguire Chilwell

Mahrez Iborra King Gray

Okazaki Vardy

If vardy is 100% fit (don't risk injuring him!), start him with kelechi, bring okazaki at the 60 minute mark and slimani on the 75th. If not, start shinji with slimani.

No, If Vardy is fit he starts with Okazaki!! Play 2 out and out strikers and we'll be overrun in midfield and have no one to link the play....    come on Craig, when you gonna learn

I'd Keep Drago alongside Morgan and move Maguire forward into a midfield 4.

This would stifle their possession game and give us a foothold in the game.

I'd go with Shingi and Slim up top and save Vardy for later in the game.

Schmeichel

Simpson

Morgan

Drago

Fuchs

Ndidi

Iborra

Maguire

Mahrez

Okazaki

Slimani

Interesting idea and could be very effective. Also a better adaptation than the 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 or all the other clever-clever type formations that people on here continually bleat about, but which patently don't suit our style and are (hopefully) unlikely to be tried out in a premier league match. Please stop. Annoying.

If we play 4-4-2, we play Okazaki. There's no way on earth we can't.

If we tried something else, say 3-5-2, then maybe we could try a different front pairing. To be honest when Okazaki plays it's probably wrong to call it 4-4-2.

Have heard Vardy has not trained all week and potentially has a groin strain?  Any itk confirm this?  If he is out, we may struggle.  Slimani and Okazaki up front then.

Or Okazaki and Nacho

We always play better when Shinji is in the team.  After his motm performance in midweek he has to start.  Vardy and Okazaki to start please.

We did in the week and shinji has played well overall this season but the highlighted sentence is blatantly untrue. Sometimes shinji is just a waste of a player on the pitch and teams bypass him. We've bought Slimani and Ineanacho because Shinji is in need of an upgrade.

James out for 4-6 weeks, damn the guy has no luck and we need more cover there.

Is it his knee again?

Sad for him as some thought he was quite effective when he returned temporarily.

Liverpool will be very determined tomorrow imo. So expect them to probably be more offensive than usual - though that could make their defence vulnerable etc for Vardy etc to exploit on.

Achilles I believe.

Tomorrow will be a different game completely, liverpool be more offensive, just if we can take advantage of this

Shame James is out and now seems broken. Should have kept Mendy who is playing regularly at Nice.

Wonder if this is why Choudhury had a run out on Tuesday.. We might actually need him.
