glenny_fox Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 remember saying to my brother after that 'don't think we will be beating that for a while being a Leicester fan'.. little did we know the ride of emotions we were all in for over the next 18 months. Jakemoore Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 I still have the recording on my Sky Box and it still gives me goose bumps.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Still think that's the best game I've attended. Atmosphere was insane at the equaliser and then skyrocketed when we went 4-3 up
HybridFox Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 The best we'd seen of Jamie Vardy at the time. Terrorised their defence all game
Finnaldo Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Probably the first time we saw what Leicester were truly capable of in the Premier League. The proof Vardy could do it in the big time, proof of an unbreakable team spirit. I remember thinking after this, even when we were in the doldrums, we could recover and do something special. I didn't expect it to be quite THAT special, though

Koke Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 How did we go from that to the calamity that followed spending several months rooted the bottom of the table? After starting the season so well I thought we were gonna be comfortably safe.
Koke Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Special mention to Di Maria. His world class finish is often forgotten cos United bottled a 3-1 lead. What a sensational goal.

FLAN Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Remember my then 8year old asking me why I was going so mental at the game. I said this doesn't happen to us. Take it all in who knew what was to come...
thesilverfox Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Said to my lad as we were leaving the ground "It won't get much better than that for you as a Leicester fan" How wrong was I?
urban.spaceman Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Had to do a "rap" in front of the whole company a couple of weeks after starting my internship in Cape Town. I made a video instead, and used a clip of Stringer commentating Vardy's goal ("... Jamie Vardy, you're in on goal son, finish it in front of the Kop , JAMIE VARDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! FOR LEICESTER CITY!") which got a HUGE laugh and cheer from 300 South Africans who probably had no idea what they were watching - this was in the February of the title winning season. This will always be one of my favourite games ever. Unforgettable for me on so many personal levels.

Ted Maul Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 I remember that 'Leicester Reds' flag making an appearance at 3-1 in the away end, before being swiftly put away What a game. We really have seen some unbelievable stuff over the last few years.
egg_fried_rice Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 First and only time I saw my old man cry at the football was during this game. He just got so overwhelmed! Definitely in the top 3 city games I've witnessed live.

Sampson Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Vardy was godlike that game. Probably the single greatest individual performance I've ever witnessed from a Leicester player. Also worth remembering what Ulloa did for his in his first 2 seasons given the flak he gets these days. He was also superb that game. Absolute bullet header for his first. And Nugent! Another cult hero like Lloyd. :')
TaggertvsWise Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 Now I know this is a little grainy but I have lost the master files. But if anyone wants to relive a highlights video I made immediately after 'THAT' match put to the song Eez eh by Kasabian then check out this link I thought was worth putting up in tribute. Once again apologies for the poor quality but you get the idea. https://goo.gl/zTSBvy
Jonezy Posted 21 September 2017 Share Posted 21 September 2017 This has to be one of my all-time favorite games. Migthy Man Utd and then that comeback. Unreal stuff and then everything got even more unreal....
