We want to go forwards not backwards

No we need a complete rebuild from the top down, NP has done that for us twice already.

Also likely that he'd come in and headbut Rudkin which would be a huge bonus.

Would love Pearson to return again. What a legend he is!

I don’t understand how people can say Nigel Pearson is a step backwards.

Yes, he’s incredibly arrogant and gets into fights with the media, but look at what he did for this club!  He demands respect from the changing room.  That’s what we are massively lacking.  I cannot understand why some people think keeping Puel is a better option than NP.

lol lol this really won't happen. We would have to pay compensation. Lol this is so stupid I can't figure out why some feel it possible.

You you do realise MON was at the game today.

That won't happen either. lol  lol

So King Power will need to compensate King Power?

I’m guessing he means to sack Puel, would be a few mill but worth it IMO.

Shall we start a whip round?

Stop all this talk of Nige.  He will forever have a special part of this club's history, but it's in the past and should remain there.

People view him through rose tinted spectacles but I seem to recall that the premier league was a bit of a struggle for him.

He did a great job building 90% of a title winning squad, but don't forget that for 29 games out of 38 that same squad displayed relegation form under his stewardship.

And if we appoint Pearson and we still dont improve then what? whos fault is it then?

Wont be Pearson's will it. Im sure we will find someone else to blame.

I get where you’re coming from but apart from a few games like Swansea (a) Southampton (a) and Man Utd (a) it always felt like we were in with a chance of getting something out of Nigel Pearson’s games. I don’t get that feeling at all right now, we’ve been playing (if you can call it that) dreadful stuff recently.

Then, it’s definetly Rudkin’s fault 100% lol

people moan about boring negative football under Puel and want Pearson back, i think some have forgotten how crap we were going forward under him

NO, NO, NO, not Pearson. It's like all those asking for the return of O'Neill years ago. This Club has to look forward not backwards. Pearson like O'Neill is history and whatever they achieved is long gone.

Progression and success?

Not to be repeated by engaging them.

Others have struggled to create that bond though.

I'd like for someone else to be a success for us but easier said than done.
