Bazly Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Reported he is taking over as head coach of the KP Belgium outfit. I though they had an irreconcilable breakdown, seems time heals. Wonder what Shakespeare will make of it?
Fox92 Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Pleased for him, hope he can recover his reputation somewhat, wish he was here though. Absolute hero. Nothing but respect for the man.
Ted Maul Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Dreaming of the day he makes his return to the LCFC dugout. It will happen.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Proves the relationship isn't damaged so seems Pearson is still well respected by our owners

If Shakey does well I don't think he'll have anything to worry about. However it does offer an alternative if he starts to founder.

That's the beauty of it, we wouldn't have to bin Shakespeare off- they could just work alongside each other.
Turbogre Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 He will be back here in 6 months time when Shakey gets the boot.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Can't help but think this is a foot in the door for him to come back here as boss. If Shakey is struggling after a few months I can see him going back as a number 2 under NP again.
WigstonWanderer Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 I think he would make an excellent DOF. From what we've seen of Rudkin it's an entirely non-speaking role, so he wouldn't have to contend with the press but could look after the club as a whole which is where he appears to excel.
rn9013 Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Very interesting. For good or bad, I genuinely think he'll end up back here at some point and in some capacity.
RonnieTodger Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Bit harsh on their old manager, they're 4th and have won by 6+ twice in 6 games
Blue ROI Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 I've always felt that the fallout over Thailand wasn't personal and that the owners didn't want to remove him like that. This might be a way of the club getting him back but given how things have nosedived somewhat for us I'd love for him to return in the background. Great for him to be back in the game even if he doesnt return to Leicester.

Number 6 Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 The questions about his ability will go on for years on here. He'll always have his haters too but personally I bloody love the bloke.
Strokes Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Love the quote from top that says NP has good people skills, i love NP but surely that was his achilles heel?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 This is fantastic news. I reckon they've patched up their differences and installed Pearson as manager at Leuven to get him back up to scratch after time out from management, then at the end of the season see how Pearson and Shakey can work together again. Which brings back all the sports science, WALSH, PL titles, OHHHHHHH MY GOD THIS IS GLORIOUS and I'm not even joking Edit: unless Shakey joins Pearson at Leuven and we get Preki. Ffs.
Max Power Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Surprised he's taken the job on one hand, but on the other he knows the owners well and maybe a change of scenery might be more palatable than a three month stint in league one. Good luck to him.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 22 September 2017 Posted 22 September 2017 Delighted he's got a job His reputation has taken a battering for things which weren't necessarily his fault He's one of our best ever managers for me, I'm glad KP and him are on good terms. Would love to see him back here one day.
