A win is very possible if we produce a good display.

And with our current league situation lets give it a real decent go and put on a good display

They are a very very good side but not the greatest side the world has ever seen as the media makes out!

their defence and keeper can be got at

I remember when the team news came out for the famous 5-3 Man Utd game, I was sat next to my uncle and I said what the hell, they have Rooney, Van Persie, Falcao and Di Maria up front. We’re about to get trounced. I prey for the same again tomorrow. Anything can happen in a cup game.

Even though I’m fully aware that wasn’t a cup game haha.

It’s so strange, even after all we went through in 15/16 season I’ve never been quite as mental as the 5-3 Man Utd game. I would still say that’s my favourite game of all time so far.

I hope it's better than the last game, against them and Palace.

Not the biggest fan of night games as it's not worth driving home to come back in  again but I have to kill about three hours and can't drink.

I just woke up this morning with a 'oh god it's them tonight' kind of feeling. It all depends on team selections I think.

Pep is a serial winner.  He will put out a side well capable of pounding us because he wants the lot this season.  I'm expecting a better showing than last Saturday but we still have enough weaknesses in our play for Man City to exploit them relatively easily so I'm not expecting us to win tonight.  Be delighted if we do though.

Can't believe some of the teams I am seeing, it's a Cup Quarter Final against the league leaders at home. We play our strongest side, we have four days to recover as we don't play again until Saturday night.

Used to hear for years from people "Get to a stable position in the league and then we'll have a go at the cups" - now we have that people still want to throw the chance at winning silverware away, I'm puzzled.

Agree with Matt. They will be beaten eventually and we've already beaten them once under Guardiola. Why not again?

Not that i believe the leak, but if that was the team i guess it would line up:

Hamer

Amartey

Dragovic

Maguire

Huth

Chilwell

Gray

King

Iborra

Okazaki

Ulloa

Actually wouldn't mind seeing that.

I'd forgotten about that draw lol

So bent it's unbelievable.

0-3 defeat again sadly. So down on our prospects after Saturday, will take some recovering from for the players as well I think.

They looked very fatigued already and we've got another 5 games in the next 2 weeks. The scheduling has been ridiculously unfair on us this season.

Well, in the Merc today Puel says he is going to put out the strongest team he can and go for a win ...    they are good but we can do it if all the players are up for it and really get in their faces.   Then, after a close win in the semis,  it will be Chelski in the final with Kante and Benchwarmer playing and we'll stuff the ******s !!!!
