Google search trends.

So I (god knows how) ended up on the premier league search stats for google, and as it turns out it shows the most searched stats for each premier league club by country. Naturally, the are absolutely dominated by the big boys (especially united) in fact, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd account for the most searched club in every country bar one. That one country is ****ing Algeria, and of course, we take the cake there. The best part is, i couldnt even find a single country in which spurs are even in the top 3 (or any clubs other than the big boys for that matter) but we are even second in the western sahara (not a clue why).

Bournemouth fans have a similar idealism towards Howe as North Koreans do for Kim to be fair! 

 

And similarly no one dares to speak out about the glorious leader despite a lot of people thinking things might not quite be as good as they could be...

Not surprising, they've won the PL in their first two seasons and are currently champions of Europe

Well, Western Sahara does border Algeria......nomadic Algerian Bedouin tribesmen crossing the border to pick up Wifi coverage at Western Saharan oases.

I think there is real potential for Leicester related Algerian fan lore. Based on this, a whole novel could be written on an epic quest through the desert just to google 'Mahrez Compilation'

Don't get it twisted. Most Algerians are not fans of the club. In fact, I've never met an Algerian irl other than my brother who actually supports the club. Most think it's holding Mahrez and Slimani back.

 

Obviously, I disagree as do many other Algerians on this forum.

I would imagine those are the same ones who didn't even know he existed before he was playing premier league football with us.
