We should persevere with Vardy as our main striker and Iheanacho as his understudy.

I think it's pointless spending big money on a player in his mid 20's who isn't better than Vardy or Iheanacho and can only play the No9 role.

I agree. I know it was only against Fleetwood. But I was really impressed with Iheanacho as a number 9.

His movement up top n constantly playing of the last shoulder was spot on.

For me he’s no way near good enough to play that No.10 role, not even in the Okazaki role. But for me he’s our second choice No.9.

Tacit admission that he wants to leave. No, it was a little more than that. In fact it was more of a come and get me. Bloody hell, he’s off isn’t he?  I bet the cvnt bleeds red not blue if you cut him. It’s as good as done.

He didn't actually say 'I'm here to stay' did he! Crap journalism

Exactly - reminded me of Shakespeare's "endorsement" of Slimani when asked about his future and replied "well he's here"

He's not daft, CP  has got the team playing v good football and 7th in the league. With a World Cup approaching he knows where he can best showcase his talents and secure his seat on the plane!

Didnt he say the same about 2 weeks before flirting with an Arsenal move.....

Hardly convincing IMO, but still dont think he will leave.

As if people are reading into that that he wants out.

Remember he’s probably sick to death of being asked that and he’s just had it thrown in there with no warning. To me I take that as he’s had enough of being asked.

Hello, SkySports.

Thank you for branding a video where Jamie Vardy says "Like I said, I'm here." with the title: "I'm here to stay."

Not exactly what he said, is it?

Poor.

His place is already booked.

Get us into Europe and I wouldn't begrudge him a move

We need to keep hold of our best players. Getting into Europe and then selling our best players isn’t progress, it’s a step back.

Not if he went, then wasnt automatic choice...

Then dropped because, not being played to his strengths....

Every time he's been asked about his future here he's answered it in a way that could be perceived as vague and not very convincing. That's Vardy, he gives honest and direct responses without being very emotive or sincere.

Vardy wont be going to Man.U.

He's good, but would he get into the team when Lukaku, Ibrahimovic, Martial, Sanchez, Rachford and The-childish-one-who-pulls-silly-faces-and-dances-like-a-twat (oh, and scores some cracking goals) are fit and on form?

If he’s not engaged with the interviewer, he’s a poor person to interview
