Our attacking subs will hopefully be Nacho for Vardy and Diabate for Shinji, preferably with Diabate coming on at 60' and Nacho at 75'

(Just thinking - not likely the reality)

Only difference I'd have is simmo back in the team

It’s veryyyy tempting to bring Simmo back in because he’s quality. But Amartey seems to be improving every game and is growing in confidence. There’s potential to undo the progress he’s made if we bring back Simmo straight away.

The way he handled Richarlison was magnificent and he’ll be up against a similar type of winger in Bolasie, so this is a chance for him to add consistency to his game.

We in This Forum, are slowly becoming,Like Scouser and some other self-opinionated

Forums,we so detested in the past...All our competitors are Put down AS crap,or Not

Worthy of our competition..It is Starting to Sound arrogant ,pathetic and egoistic.

We have Melt Downs and Melt ups...We are only winning because Others are poor,!!

Why oh why, cant people just enjoy the Moment..ITS entertainment ffs!!

Scouseland has expanded its borders it seems,,grumpies are getting the upperhand,

or Other teams aint good enough..

Everton will be difficult...Respect the Clubs we compete against..

Or we deserve Shit in Return...

Right have had a go at understanding this collection of words, and I think you're saying by calling Everton poor, we're being arrogant.  Let me try and explain.

Firstly there was no arrogance, I haven't said we'll beat Everton at any point. Everton have been poor this year, it's why they've spent large chucks of the season in the bottom half of the league, and why they sacked Koeman after he spent £200m. There's no getting away from that. It was asked how, despite being poor they find themselves in the usually comfortable midtable position of 9th. I merely pointed out the fact that the whole bottom half is very tight and as on a whole been poor, and they are as close to us and Burnley a place above as they are the drop zone. There's no getting away from that, there's a reason there's a gap opened up from Burnley upwards, because from there down the teams haven't played well for most the season.

I'd prefer Silva for James and Simmo for Amartey, but otherwise spot on.

Amartey hasn’t put a foot wrong, and his gave Simpson competition, and after how Simpson look today, he will have to wait to get his place back.

Silva for James I would do, silva better footballer and more mobile

This is the unusual thing about this season, although last year there was a very narrow gap between 8th and 17th too.

Usually there are some teams that never challenge the big boys but are still very decent teams, such as Everton, Southampton and Stoke who are solid and even play good stuff at times. This year those teams have really taken massive steps backwards for various reasons and I'd say that we are probably the only team outside of the top 6 who look like a decent or even good side. Which is why we probably find ourselves 7th! Burnley had a very decent start to the season but I don't think can sustain it as I feel they have ground out results rather than outplaying opponents. That said our visit to them coming up soon is still a big game that we can't take lightly.

For the future of LCFC I think how we go forwards from here is important. In Southampton's case I feel they were too greedy selling both star players and managers to teams above them... it was bound to catch up with them eventually. We've only lost Kante and Drinkwater so far (though many of us expect Mahrez to go in the summer), but we have to negotiate the challenge of not turning down crazy money whilst also trying to maintain progression and get closer to the teams above us.

That said we have brilliant owners and I think that even if we lose Mahrez we will spend big to replace him. Just need to be mindful that big money is not always a guarantee of big success as Everton and to an extent we have proved. All our best players have been cheap to mid-tier purchases, with almost of our club record signings ending up being lackluster.

It was 12 points last year, it's 6 this year. I checked the last 5 years, it hasn't been less than 11.

I think that will be the team due to who played against Peterborough.

Against Swansea though it will be interesting to see who our right back is and our central midfield.

Really want us to win this game for 2 reasons, firstly to prove we are the strongest side outside the top six and secondly to shut big fat Sams mouth up for always blowing his own trumpet how good a manager he is!!

Agree with all this...and cant wait till we have 40 points. i feel with safety certain we are capable of taking most teams apart

Actually, I wasnt having a dig at you,and Not relevant, With our Exchange of Posts from today.

Though....on Your Last Point, I Dont See Teams struggling for Results means Automatically

that all Teams are playing substandard,or poor football..

Even when we Sometimes disagree, I Like Your Posts..

I think you have to keep playing the same team in the league. Big Dan has done amazingly as well it would be incredibly harsh to drop him after 5 clean sheets in a row.

Good Points...but!

I Want us to Keep Mahrez,He gives With Vardy us something unique.

After the past Couple of months, and today we have Seen Puel,

Slowly start to Change our Potential future,With new young players,

Combining the old ethos and Style,With fresh ideas...

If Mahrez was to be Sold,Would we "need" to use the whole fee on

a Single Player, believing incorrectly we could replace him??

IMO you just dont find players so easy of His ilk,so lets not get stressed

Searching for a 1to1 replacement..
