We are in a decent league position, realistically 7th is the best we’ll end up,

riyad isn’t going to improve our league position, and it’s inevitable he’s leaving in the summer,so we should play what will be the lcfc team for next season,

i would rather have a hungry young player in diamanté playing than mahrez who’s just going to sulk, and him walking back into a team that he neither wants to play for and who will definitely leave doesn’t set a great example to the young upcoming players we have

No.

The only positive thing is that you won't be here anymore when he'll leave in the summer.

But we want to finish 7th, thats no guarantee anyway, but we have a better chance if Mahrez plays

Riyad is perhaps the best player I've watched in 42 years of following the City. He has been part of our finest moments. Such huge skill.

But he has behaved like a spoilt child this week, disrespecting his employers, his teammates, and us.

Until he issues an apology he does not deserve to wear our colours, even if that does weaken or team.

............. But we are still in with a shout of the FA cup .. tricky decision for Puel if we make the Semis and are playing at Wembley

Yes

He is a Young man and makes a mistake , is poorly advised and sulks , half the lads at my factory sulk and drop bottom lip if told off or not let have a Friday off work.

we need to appreciate he is immature and he is greatly gifted , life is too short for hatred and anger let’s get behind him and the manager.

this is just foxestalk, when he comes back and apologizes, most of the people that liked him before will be ok with him playing, when he wins as a game or two, more will get behind him.

as for the other miserable crowd who made it a national sport getting at him for the longest, keep licking sour lemons.

firstly credit goes to city for holding out on the price they believe miraz is worth no longer are we getting pushed around by the bigger clubs first in my lifetime. also why didnt man city go in for him at the start of the window and leave it after we 4 players out on loan which made peps statement he was always after him not because of the injury crisisa load of bollocks. finaliy miraz attitude shocking he forgets he could still be playing in french division 2 football if we hadnt spotted him look what vardy said how much he owes to city for giving him the chance and sticking by him when he thought he wasnt good enough for city look at kingys attitude never cpmplained or moaned when not playing great clubman. miraz reckons he is depressed wake up your on 100 thousand a week  my late dad who played 14 years for city was on 10 pounds a week and had to work in the summer to make ends meet yes you are talented and you will go but as a person you are spoilt and greedy

that's beating a dead horse one too many times. it's been said to the same poster in too many threads. just put him on the ignore list, or do you just want to complain?

He needs to play again, and for his own benefit should get back to playing again.

Whilst i dont want unwavering fan like loyalty from players, I do expect professionalism.

If the owners had deemed Man CIty's offer acceptable, he would have been sold. He just needs to focus on the football, not on the business. If he does that, he will get his move.

So its in his interests to showcase his talent and act professionally. Sadly he doesnt seem capable of this.

Its in his own interests to come back.

When the smoke clears I hope he takes a bit of responsibilty. I don't care too much about a statement or an apology on his behalf. Just a realization that unless the price was met we were left with next to no alternative.

He could have gained financially but in reality its about maybe £400k hes lost out on over leaving 4-5 months early. Hes gained close to 15m-20 million being with us. Grasping at straws here maybe saying this but Mahrez and Leicester have been good to one another.

The Algerians on social media are not doing him any favours. Reminds me of being in Cork at the time of Roy Keane and Saipan with any dissenting voice being shunted out. Why this has become a thing of local pride is bizarre.

We've had a great time together but he risks becoming the next Pierre Van Hooijdonk if hes not careful. He delivers the goods for us again in the next 4 months a lot of his will blow over.

Everyday that passes makes a return more unlikely. We are not good enough to win the FA cup and will struggle to get the last European place due to a string of indifferent results. Regretably it's time to move on and plan for next year. Really can't see whats the good of playing him now, even if he does ever turn up for work.

At the point now where it's up to him, as the club is doing its best to try to an end an awkward situation that has been created by him.

If you goto https://www.lcfc.com and check out the latest videos they sometimes post training days (along with chats with players, tunnel cams etc.) or at least they used too :o

Also in the galleries section they show pickies of players training ... https://www.lcfc.com/galleries/612775 (that was before the Swansea game)

Totally agree. Apologise and get his head straight and we can welcome him back into the team and we move on. Otherwise let him rot. Don't care if he's the best player to ever play for us, nobody is bigger than our club and we should not just accept such dis respect.
