Katy Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 There’s no way we’re winning this. If we didn’t have the points already on the board we’d be sucked into a relegation battle by now, I guess there’s still time though ? West Brom are shite but we aren’t much better on current form, you can guarantee Vardy will score though. I very much doubt Iborra will start another game for us this season, something has gone on there I’m sure.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Think we'll lose this one. West Brom haven't won in a while and they'll bully us. I predict we'll huff and puff have about 50 shots and 75 crosses and score 1 goal whereas they'll have 2 shots and 2 goals. Rinse. Repeat. Till season ends.

surrifox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Every one of their corners will Instil total panic . every one of ours will be their opportunity to mount a counter attack
GingerrrFox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 With Amartey and Simpson being a bomb scare. I’d go 3-5-2. Kasper Maguire Morgan (would prefer Dragovic) Fuchs Albrighton Ndidi Iborra Chilwell Riyad Iheanacho Vaedy Subs: Hamer, Dragovic, James, Silva, Gray, Diabate, Okazaki.
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Think this we be a totally different game to the three 1-1 home draws against lower table opponents. They won't be parking the bus in their desperate situation and this should work in our favour for a comfortable win. I say should rather than will win as again it depends on the formation. Know better come 2 pm next Saturday when the team is announced. 1
Gazza M Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 They have no choice but to go all out for the win. Let's go back and do what other teams are doing to us at home. Solid and keep it tight and let's hit them with pace on the counter. Kasper Simpson Morgan Maguire Fuchs Iborra Ndidi Mahrez Okazaki Diabate Vardy Subs: Jakapovic, Dragovic, Chilwell, Silva, Albrighton, Iheanacho, Gray. 1

Sadly probably this we can all see it coming as they can’t buy a win and we tend to gift teams on awful runs a goal or two etc etc hopefully the Super Foxes will prove us wrong up the City

Like the idea, but puels negativity, he plays one striker at home, no way will he play two away, especially at the bottom of the table side, he couldn’t risk losing. Sorry for sounding negative, these last few results have given me the hump, normally over it by Sunday, but can’t shake the frustration off
Md9 Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 This will be a tough and frustrating game no doubt. Start playing 80 mins onwards which seems to happen at the minute. Is huth still injured? He would have been good to have to defend corners next to maguire. Also more likely to score with him from them to. Maybe albrighton could do with a rest. I'm sure we will start with the sane team again apart from amartey if he is injured

The owners might not like us drawing lots of games, but what they'd like even less is to be seen as not respecting their managers. Would you want to manage a team who would happily sack you despite you being 8th, far into a Cup, looking stable and safe? I wouldn't think so. Edited 4 March 2018 by Beechey
boots60 Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Pardew sacked after losing to Leicester The following week, Conte sacked after losing to Barcelona & Leicester. £10 win double, lump on.
Guest Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Considering the poor play from our leaders and stars recently I'd go for a big change for this match, again looking to the future and saying the title is well and truly in the past: Jakupovic (Kasper could start but let's give him a kick up the pants too) RB from the U23s if Amartey is injured (Simpson's days are over) Dragovic (It's the end of the road for Morgan and Huth) Maguire Chilwell (Fuchs is off to the U.S.) Ndidi Iborra Silva /Diabaté Gray Okazaki Iheanacho A team including just Okazaki from our title winning team. sure, Kasper and Vardy are both in our future plans but to be honest - Simpson, Fuchs, Huth, Morgan, Mahrez aren't in our future. albrighton could be but I'd be tempted to look at Thomas and Barnes on the bench in his place alongside Choudhury and Knight. The future is here, our team have churned out some poor results against poor opposition. There can be no defence of anyone who has played in 2018. It's time to give the next wave a go and see who should stick for next year.
surrifox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Perhaps we could try getting into the opposition in the first half rather than waiting until we concede before trying a more coherent approach . Against Stoke and esp Bournemouth players seemed to be isolated from each other and were too easily dispossessed and facing counter attacks - surely this is a training ground issue - if we want to go more possession based football maybe try to keep the ball for more than 30 seconds
reynard Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 (edited) We'll be fine for 5 minutes at the start then we will start to pass the ball sideways and backwards with little or no thought of getting over the half wayline. Vardy will be completely isolated as usual. We will then concede from a set piece and panic like crazy for the last 20 minutes trying to get an equaliser. Proabably have around 10 corners which as usual will come to nothing. This time though we may not get an equaliser. After the match we will get the usual Puel interview about qualitee about how good the opponents are etc etc etc. Have they got any players who haven't scored for a while because if so probably worth a bet. Hopefully we can sneak a draw and get one more point nearer to safety. Edited 4 March 2018 by reynard
CosbehFox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 Pardew sacked on Monday. In comes someone backed by all the players, play a formation WBA are comfortable with and beat us 2-0.

ZeGuy Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 (edited) We're doing better away than at home. That said we're not particularly impressive against WBA. 1-1. Kasper Simpson Maguire Dragovic Fuchs Mahrez Ndidi Silva Diabaté Shinji Vardy Edited 4 March 2018 by ZeGuy
