So Everton are the front runners now? Fs. Everton, the side where creative midfielders go to die.

That’s true lol they have so many that previously looked promising/proven their worth, it’s a graveyard up there in Everton lol

He has his heart set on coming to us, for him not to we must either have serious concerns over his long term fitness or we've pissed about like we sometimes do on transfers. It really is a no brainer though if that injury is bog standard.

Perhaps he’ll sign if we bring Rodgers in.....

I think that rumour was to get Roberts.

From memory, I seem to recall reading that we had 50 million to spend on players this window, plus any money from the sale of players such as Mahrez. To date we have spent about 20 million on 2 players, that leaves us with plenty to get this lad in. He is just what we need now and have needed for a while.

I can see us losing him to another club as we do seem to p1ss about with some transfers, the Drinkwater/Silva one is a prime example.

They've got zero chance of competing with us for this player if we really want him. He wants to be closer to home (Coventry). Also Everton are arguably the most overrated club in the history of the world, nothing but a mid table club at best nowadays and they haven't won anything for over 20 years!

Leicester > Everton

All this hype of Everton is so laughable by the media lol.

They've fallen down the pecking order below us.

They finished above us last season...

Maybe we are waiting to sort this out before Mahrez's move goes viral?  Why else is the Mahrez move taking so long to get over the line? If RM's Agent is holding things up, as they are are arguing over his wedge, then Mahrez should to the decent thing and subsidize the Agent's fee out his signing on bundle.  Both this and the Mahrez saga is becoming very very boring.

That was down to us/Puel throwing away the Europa League spot to Burnley.
