Fair play to Burnley though, I thought they'd fall away, I don't think they've received enough praise for what they've done this season.

It's going to be one of those 'what could have been' seasons for us.  Missing out on a Europa spot in the league and a great chance for 2 major cup finals.

Could be more good news for BFC. Final away match is May 6 at Arsenal, who less than 72 hrs earlier will be at Atletico Madrid in a Europa Cup semi-final 2nd leg.

Extra-time, penalties and defeat for Arsenal in Madrid? We don't "owe Arsenal one" - we "owe them three"....the number of times we have been cheated in the 90th minute the last three times we have met.

According to yourself Burnley have been cheated in every single game you've ever played in your history ever.

We're getting no points from our final two. Big ask even with a win tomorrow.

Arsenal have Atletico (H) Thu 4/26, Man U (A) Sun 4/29, Atletico (A) Thu 5/3 then Burnley (H) likely Sun 5/6.  Then to the KP 5/9 for their third in six days, and after that run.

So I would like to think this will be the time.  Plus maybe Mahrez will want to flash a little leg and will be well up for it.

Looking at those run ins I can't see us catching them even if we win tomorrow.

Come on.

If we want it, we can take all of them except maybe Spurs away - but I think we can do them too.

All depends on the team's mental state.

They do that to a lot of teams last minute winners bastards

People (mostly Derby and QPR) thought we'd "fall away" in 2013/14.

I don’t think the players want it otherwise they would have 7th spot secure by now with the fixtures we’ve had. Feel a possible experiment in midfield with the Iborra injury and Huth as cover at cb

Europa League is an awful competition, don't want to be in it unless we're going to win it and at the moment I don't think we're anywhere near good enough to do that.

Mentality on European nights is way different than mentality playing against Crystal Palace and West Ham.

Half the clubs we'll be playing will be worse than Palace and West Ham.

So we can win it then! Which means Ian Nacho wants to be in it!

I ever understand why supporters, say it's over or it's impossible, when it's still very possible.

A win tomorrow and we are 3 points behind with a better GD and similar looking last 5 games. If you look at out two toughest fixtures, both could have big cup finals coming up after our game, meaning players could be rested. Other games are winnable, if we don't win tomorrow the task becomes huge.

Let's back the boys home!

Chelsea and AC Milan would be the favourites imo.

Possibly Sevilla as well, depending how they fare out in their respective leagues.

Players are on the ? and dont fancy qualifiers in late July I reckon. It's gone.

So much this. Does anyone really think the players are that bothered about it that they'd be losing 2 weeks off of their holidays to play on some shithouse artificial pitch in Belarus on a Thursday night only to get ripped to shreds a la West ham/Everton if they don't perform?

I'd say every player wants to be playing in Europe regularly. If they don't they need to seriously question their careers.

We berate each other on here a bit, those who want to make Europe & those that are indifferent,

I want to make Europe, I really do but I can see why folk aren’t dancing in the street compared to recent seasons,

12/13 -  Scraped the play offs and it was bloody good - I remember how I felt at Forest and it took some beating

13/14 - Championship win

14/15 - Horrendous for the season but those last 9 games were absolute magic

15/16 - You bloody well know what happened

16/17 - Champions League Quarter Finals

17/18 - I genuinely cant blame people for not being that bothered about potentially qualifying for the early qualifying stages of the Europa League

Currently (As in until we improve) we are a 75 year old man that once bedded a Super Model when he was 30 and it’s all he can think of. His mates say to him, but Dennis, you’ve still got Muriel at home, just put a bit more effort in and she’ll sleep with you again... Dennis replies by shrugging his shoulders and going “meh, it’s just not the same”

and that hat ladies and gents is theLeicester City & The Europa League.

Yes the pub pub was good x

We need to win four and probably get points against Chelsea or Arsenal to have a hope of making it up to 7th.

And we will certainly need a better showing than the turgid last few weeks football if we have a hope of it not being all over by 5pm tonight. I for one am hopeful but don’t really have confidence in the manager to let the players off the leash and do what they do best.
