How much longer can they hang on to their top talent before they actually grow some balls and go elsewhere to win trophies. Without Kane, Alli and Son they're very ordinary. Massive stadium to pay off. Basically we killed their only chance of winning it, and I couldn't be happier What a great week for spuds! I couldn't be happier either! Ponch has the perfect excuse though.......winning trophies only breeds egos, so definitely no egos (as well as trophies) at spuds then!! https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11619861/mauricio-pochettino-says-trophies-only-build-ego-and-tottenham-always-want-to-be-in-top-four

The joy of seeing them losing is slightly offset when you see that Doncaster, Wimbledon, Millwall, Shrewsbury and Newport will all feature in the 5th round draw - whereas our season is effectively finished. But, hey, at least we have a wonderful, wonderful, charismatic manager. We also have a manager that has won a league title, reached a semi final of the champions league and won a European trophy, unlike most of the P/L managers out there and certainly more than Ponch will win whilst he stays at spuds!

Whatever that case may be, it is nice to see Tottenham bottling it and for how many people say they are a great club these past ten years they can not even compare to what we have won.

Their handshakes last two minutes. They play at Wembley. They're a shower of shit that club. Awful players. Overrated manager. Insufferable fans. Knobhead owners. 1 4

Stadt Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Liverpool have bottled more than Spurs have over the past decade, what have Spurs actually bottled? Because they weren't close enough to us to bottle the league. The Champions League semi against Juve? FA Cup semi last season? The narrative won't change now but they've never actually been in a good enough position to choke, Whereas Liverpool have actually bottled a league title, a Europa league final and a Champions league final over the past 5 years 2

They couldn't beat wba at home when a win would certainly have put more pressure on us going to man utd. They gave up a 2 goal lead against chelsea that confirmed us as champions and have also lost 3 semi-finals in the last couple of years. I would say they are serious bottle jobs.

Forget more than many other teams..they keep getting themselves in those positions. You have to be in it to win it!!! The likes of us "also-rans" can only dream of having single shots once in 100years. Then we have the audacity to be over critical.....!! I only wish we could bottle a few more things!! 1

Dan Posted 28 January 2019 Posted 28 January 2019 Tottenham can surely have no complaints at all if the likes of Kane and Eriksen want out.

Plenty of examples you listed yourself. All they had to do against Juventus was avoid conceding two goals without reply in one half at home, sure enough they failed. Blinked before we did in the title race. First chance they got to really close the gap to Chelsea (West Ham away) they lost. Man Utd cup semi they lost a game they were winning in against a side they'd recently beaten soundly. Liverpool get away with it a lot but Tottenham are definitely chokers. 2

Blowing a title they were odds on to win by losing a game they gifted the opening goal away in and throwing a 3-0 lead at Palace away. The manner they lost the Champions League final. Being beaten from behind in the Europa League final. Klopp's a very good manager but his record in finals of late is appalling. 6 defeats on the spin is poor (I get you will like Klopp as you've mentioned you're a Dortmund fan also) And make no mistake if they don't win the league this year you can add that in too. They were 7 clear at one point. Edited 28 January 2019 by Dan LCFC
