JP speaks.

Sadly thats profoundly cheap. But I just want rid now.

Given City allegedly didn't want this to be their record signing, it's entirely feasible that it's actually more, but both parties have agreed to say it's this. I'd bet there are add-ons on top of that.

I presume the reasoning behind it being 60M is City are paying his loyalty bonus else i cant understand how we've gone from 60M + Roberts being agreed to this.

Don't want us being stuck with another young, un proven winger. Rather just get straight cash and re - invest it, getting a proper replacement. We already have projects in gray and Diabate.

Tbf that'd serve us well if people think we've only got 60m for a replacement rather than 75/80m. Highly doubt it'll have dropped in price after the standoff over loyalty bonuses.

If he goes for £60m there'll be significant clauses to this deal.

Those saying he's going to be a bench warmer, aren't looking at what Man City were trying to do last year with their rotation policy and attempting to keep everyone fresh for the various competitions. He'll get game time for sure.

Nono i completely agree, im saying I don't understand how the fee has dropped so much when it was apparently agreed before for 60M + Roberts.

He will go down as the best flair player to ever wear a Leicester Shirt, certainly that I have ever seen over the last 20 years.
He has received some bad advice over the last couple of years but always came back into the fold and showed his talent.
Even in the games where he was quiet, he was still trying to make things happen and it will be hard to replace his spark.

60 million is a steal imo and we will not realise how much he will be missed until he is gone.
Thanks for the memories Riyad! You go with my best wishes!

If it is £60m, it's painful, but trying to think positively about it, our asking price was £45m this time last year so we've got another £15m and another year's service.

Perhaps they would like to take that lumbering lump Slimani as well

They're getting those irritating Algerian fanboys by the bucketload. One thing at a time eh?

So winning the Premier League with Leicester wasn’t an honour for Algerian football, or an inspiration?

it was

£60m for a 'bench warmer', he's facing stiff competition for a starting place

He won't be a bench warmer.

Jesus, the amount of bitter fans is saddening.
