Lovejoy Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 The possibility of Mendy, James and Wilshere in midfield next season . It's a Physio's nightmare. 4
mod hero Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Still been good for Arsenal this season and is unlike anything we have in midfield currently. i would sign him in a heartbeat (for free) cant see it though
Donut Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Surprised about the negativity of some Combines craft with hard work and a bit of edge. Hes an excellent player. Would definitely take him 1
Jimmy Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 on a free transfer for reasonable wages its certainly worth a gamble

AKCJ Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 He's a good player and would probably start for us but he's nowhere near as good as the media make him out to be. Dined off of being "the next best thing" and "if he wasn't injury prone..." for years. He's certainly not good enough to be starting every game for a side that has ambitions for top 4.

By the time we reach the top four we'll play his grand-sons. And that's being optimistic. Edited 15 May 2018 by ZeGuy

Clever Fox Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 I can't see him leaving Arsenal but I wouldn't mind him here.

When he did the loan spell at Burnley he was injured most of the time. Be big wages to watch a player sit down. When he was 18, Wilshere was lined up to go on loan at Burnley but went to Bolton instead.
Kisnorbo fox Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Would be a very creative player for us, also reckon who would give us abit of bite in the midfield. Although the only worry is, he can be injury prone.
The_77 Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Has anyone mentioned his injuries? I'd be shocked if this happens but he'll have a less-demanding schedule here and would definitely make an impact.
steflcfc Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 It’s a real tough call with Jack. He really could go 2 ways, 1. End up a player constantly on and off the injury table through next season 2. Have a pre season and regain his fitness becoming a very shrewd signing. I don’t know which it would be to be honest. I do feel Arsenal’s style of play with the ball suits him more, as he just does short busts of speed. Where as we press more and as we have less possession, he would have to do more distance in our central midfield and I don’t think he would be up to the task on a regular basis.
Ian Nacho Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Not sure we even need midfielders, maybe one more as back up that's it.
richardsfoxes Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Can't even get in a dog shit England team...what does that tell you. No thanks
Flannel_Fox Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 I like the grit and the hard work he showed breaking back into the Arsenal squad after being written off this year. Ability would 100% improve our squad. If he leaves Arsenal though I can see him going abroad.
Guest Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Not only is he an idiot but he must be the most overrated player in the prem. A big NO from me.
Heymister2015 Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 did nothing at bournemouth and not a lot this season neither
Leicesterpool Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Overrated, spends most of a season on crutches. Can imagine his wages are pretty high too.
Tielemans63 Posted 15 May 2018 Posted 15 May 2018 Very good player when fit but it all feels a bit 'Dennis Wise-ish' to me for some reason. Plus he's made of biscuits which is not ideal when the guy would be one of, if not the highest earner at the club. Avoid.
