We are the biggest club in the MIdlands at the moment and should celebrate this. I know Stanley C keeps spouting on how the Villa are one of most trophy laden clubs in English history and are one of football's elite. In this respect he is totally correct … seven top division titles and seven times FA cup winners. What he fails to mention is that their penultimate League title was in 1910 and their penultimate FA cup win was in 1920. Anyway enough bitterness …… still miss my trips to Villa Park and some banter with the Brummies. Haha … started writing this rubbish when Villa were 3-0 down … sorry Stanley … up the Villa and you are missed on Talksport.
CosbehFox Posted 8 February 2019 Posted 8 February 2019 Sheff Yoo’s reserve keeper must be ****ing awful

EastAnglianFox Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Leeds equalise in the 101st minute....just another boring championship game then...

BirminghamFox Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Why didn’t we sign Che Adams.... looks quality

Clarke. Good prospect as well, he's only a young lad and had been impressive. Rushed to hospital but not sure of the outcome yet.

martyn Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Adams does look like he's on an upward trajectory. Will have a load of prem clubs interested this summer.

lcfcsnow Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 He seemed the obvious choice and from Leicester surely he'd have been keen to come to us, we'll regret it.
AjcW Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 I think it’s pretty well documented Birmingham couldn’t let him leave in January as they weren’t allowed to replace and they’re still in with a chance of play offs/promotion which would solve all their financial issues. Got to be a target in the summer though!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 I love the Championship (as long as we’re not in it) such a competitive league, reminds me of what football used to be like!

StanSP Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Well if it's not Benalouane making headlines at Forest, it's Molla Wague
surrifox Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 I never knew how his surname is pronounced but I’m calling that Final score’s “Wagooey” doesn’t tick the box
AjcW Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Bristol might FINALLY get a top flight team this year. 14 games unbeaten in all comps and 8 wins in a row, they’re looking like that side that pops up every season as “having a run” Before anyone jumps in... Post 92 side ?
StanSP Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Livermore should be off for that. Could have broken Vokes' leg.

What I find really nuts is that the Championship has the third biggest attendance in Europe behind the PL and Bundesliga. Our second tier league is better supported than Ligue 1, Serie A and La Liga. Marvelous.

It’s aggregate attendance rather than average though - and the Championship has 96 more matches than those leagues mentioned
