Am I the only one that actually rates him?

Probably.

I was told that the Daily Mail have a record for putting false names and personalities to their transfer stories where there’s no actual source.

This is avoid their relationship being soured with agents etc.

I strong believe this is the case with ‘Simon Jones’

Been linked for years, id take him as a direct winger is something we don't currently have

when you say direct?

He played in 36 games

500mins (5.5 more games in terms of time) and got 1 more assist than Albrighton and the same goals. Think we need to be looking at a caliber of player that supersedes existing ones, for a low transfer price he would be a good squad addition - but for the 27m reported last year or even 20m  no thanks

I rate him and think he always looked pretty good for England in the few times I saw him get a chance :)

Have you watched him play? He's definitely direct!

Simon Jones for MailOnline (3,452)
Simon Jones for the Daily Mail (2,567)
Simon Jones - The Insider for the Daily Mail (204)
Simon Jones for The Mail on Sunday (183)

Seems strange he doesn't have a social media footprint baring in mind the amount of stories he reports

And he never reports on matches. Its solely transfer information.

‘Hes’ been writing at the DM since 2012 but never made any career progression.
