Have you watched him play? He's definitely direct!

and I didn't say anything about a fee I just said I'd take him as he's different

I think it highlights either A) Mark Albrighton is underrated achieving similar numbers in 500 mins less playing time and in a less "Direct" more defensive manner.

Or      B) Andros Townsend is slightly overrated given the additional minutes and the "Direct" playing style he has benefited from.

If he is no better than Albrighton he certainly isnt a replacement for Mahrez, so why would he leave a team where he played in 36 games to become a bit part player?

He's a better version of Albrighton in my opinion on the other side. As a Mahrez replacement though it stinks, he'd be crucified here.

He ripped our defence to bits last season but I don’t suppose that took a lot of doing!

Benteke also scored more goals against us that anyone else this season 2 out of his 3 goals for the season

Am I the only one that actually rates him?

Created the most chances for Palace last year I read, decent number of assists. At the right price, he'd be a decent signing.

Such a boring signing. Same with Patrick Roberts.

Offer 40m for some Brazilian with flair please.

Yup. Absolutely not interested in either of these two. May as well change our name to West Bromwich.

If he comes here it will make you wonder who is recommending we sign these same players we keep getting linked with every window. Does the manager have any say in it or is it again our DOF and his recruitment team who have proved many times in the past not up to it.

Harshly treated on here, he'd bring a decent balance to the side. Hard working, but with a creative edge and makes chances.

People expecting a straight Mahrez replacement are deluded.

We are trying to bring more creativity all over the pitch, so that we aren't reliant so much on one amazing talent. You can see that in the attacking full backs and the creative 10 we are after.

Or perhaps one plays with zaha (who's good) and benteke (who's shite) and the other played by mahrez and vardy.

If he was cheapish would be a good addition to the squad.  If we want to become a "big boy" we should have squad players of this quality happy to not be starters every week.  Not everyone we sign this window, even if they are wingers, has to be seen as a direct Mahrez replacement.  As a squad player I can't see any issues with this.

I'd take both him and Benteke

Benteke Isn't what's he once was, got so many big chances last year but near enough fluffed them all

Worst goals stat of them all and probably has more shots (mostly pot shots) than them all put together.

Any comment on all the ones that he tops?
