Sorry Alex but while the second paragraph is correct, the first is ribbish. 

 

Speed on the ball is definitely more than just ability to sprint but slow people don't ultimately really catch fast people. I can only ever remember one centre half successfully chasing down a prime Jamie Vardy and that was Eric Bailly in the community shield final. Even then, I'd argue that was a somewhat off colour and unfit Jamie Vardy. We'd completely trashed our pre season with all that corporate international friendly shit. 

 

When Vardy (or any fast striker) is clear behind, there's no catching them.

 

The current game mechanics aren't realism, they're broken. EA always do this, something is too effective so instead of toning it down a little they kill it entirely. Like low driven shots. They're absolutely terrible at finding balance. 

 

Pace was too ridiculous last year and everyone was just parking the bus to fight it. So this year they've made high press more effective and slowed down dribble speed and they've gone way too far. 

 

The second paragraph is correct though, the first thing I do now when one on one is immediately look for options around me. 

 

It's not actually sprint speed that's low its dribble speed so what you really want is to hit a longer through ball and have your striker fully chase it because he won't be caught until he actually has possession.

They'll never put a cap on teams. It's called Ultimate Team, you're meant to build a strong side. It's a shame because it makes silver and bronze players pointless. 

 

I wish they'd bring back silver and bronze cups. Even if they just gave silver and bronze rewards, that's fine. 

 

As for the pro players in division five shit, it's just a crap myth that keeps getting repeated by people that think they should be in a higher division than they are because they were last year. 

 

A very small handful of wannabe pros have admitted relegating themselves to div 5 because the rewards are easier to get but 99% of the people you play there are just normal people at your level. 

 

All of my games in div 5 and 4 are even, if I lose its nearly always by a goal or two tops in a competitive game, the skill rating system as far as I can tell works pretty much as it should. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been smashed in rivals by someone miles better than me that probably shouldn't be in my division. 

 

That's after about 200 games. 

 

Oh and about high rated teams, it means shit. I've not faced a single stacked team full of icons and Neymar and all that crap and been hammered, I don't think I've even lost to a team like that. Stacked teams are nearly always controlled by muppets. You can beat an 87 rated team with an 83 rated team easily. In that situation the more skilful player is going to win 19/20 times.

yeah man, i used to like making squads for the bronze and silver cups, but finding a  match was impossible. if they gave esports kits as rewards im sure there would be more interest lol

I'm starting to think lampard might solve my cam problem. currently have griezmann there with williams and gameiro up top. but im running out of time to do the sbc. anyone got any tips? i have one TOTW card i can dispose of, about 30k in unsold cards, and about 2 weeks of rewards to cash in to come. think its doable?

I might do it if it requires his normal card as I have it untradeable but would prefer it is a striker card as I already have POTM Hazard.

In all seriousness though, silver packs for winning silver, bronze packs for winning bronze and a few coins. That'd do.

You do realise that this is just your opinion, you seem to constantly post like you are a community manager from EA you’re quite condescending in your replies.

I had his 88 for a bit and I didn’t find him very good. Just seemed to go missing in games.
