Ricardo I think has been a bit iffy with his final ball, and it is worth noting both Uruguay goals came from his side but I don't think he was massively at fault for either. I do like the positions he gets into though. He will change our attacking dynamic significantly.

On reflection I think he's a bit at fault for the second, but Pepe is the main one at fault really.

Think he came narrow to cover for his 2 CBs both going for one ball, losing possession and by that point not enough time to get back to get Cavani, who scored a beauty. 

First half he didn't particularly get a chance with everything going down the left, wasn't until the second did he get much of a chance going forward

People being hard on Ricardo, he had to cover the centre back who was exposed to a 1 on 1, yes he did come across to far, however if was a great finish.

 

Looked pacey, and decent on the ball.

Why is it, generally, that when some supporters watch a new signed player for the first time who doesn't perform particularly well - they place strong doubts on them in an instant, as if they're not going to improve well enough to do well for the club from a few glimpsrs theyve watched on them?

Ricardo is definitely going to be playing against a forward line as strong as Suarez and Cavani every week you know.

Because all our transfer targets sign up and read foxestalk before deciding on whether to sign.

I meant how he scored 2 goals vs barca and everyone thought he was amazing - he turned out of be pretty poor. Maybe the low expectation for pereira will be a blessing.

Lol it gets worse and worse we used to write players off after about half a season but these days it's a couple of games. This has to be its peak though writing a player off before he has kicked a ball or had a training session for city.

Calm down Mr Positive, I for one say it how it is, if he turns out good then great but tonight his performance wasn't a positive one, that is all, I'm not gonna come on here and say he played ok when he clearly didn't.
