Because they haven't been available and those that are haven't done the required pre match  fitness training.

Tbf dont every club rotate heavily during preseason.

 

for example Man City are playing a bunch of kids who probably won’t ever play for the first team

Only a sh1tty pre season friendly but if it was purely down to fitness then seems like its a wasted exercise as surely you should be able get most of your players fit through training and behind closed door matches against each other. Should be about getting a team to gel together and test out partnerships within the team that have been practiced in training. I dont see how its if vital importance to get 3rd string players as much game time as possible at this stage. Would rather make sure the players that will be starting get 90 mins.

Has been working fine for me for the past two matches. And I'm not living in the UK.

Never been the issue, but now it apparently is - because I'm getting the same country restriction notice! FFS!

 

Off to Firefox and Hola it is... Bloody hell, no indication they'd do that for this match... Poor communication and poor IT.

The club never cease to amaze me in that regard.

Schmeichel must be getting some game time on Wednesday against Valencia you would think.

Getting close to the start of the season now and some of the world cup stars are going to be going in without much/any game time

How do you know they haven't been trying out different combos. I'm sure the expected starting 11 would have played more if they'd been available.

Playing against oppositions you are not used to is much more beneficial than playing against one of your mates.

FYI I am curently strreaming using the HOLA extension on Chrome, i have heard some dodgy things about Hola...but, ive never been aware of a problem so.. its up toyu
