yorkie1999 Posted 29 July 2018 Posted 29 July 2018 No, half the reason they went down was the shit stirring.

EnderbyFox Posted 29 July 2018 Posted 29 July 2018 I wondered how long it would take us to reach the bottom of the barrel, here we are 1

We've lost two centre backs and brought one in. He was a key part of a team that comfortably stayed in the league for years before they imploded, he's only 28 and easily good enough to be a backup CB. As a maguire replacement, I'd be slightly worried. As a replacement for the two squad CB's we lost I'd be more than happy. 5

lancyclaret Posted 30 July 2018 Posted 30 July 2018 Mirror article not strictly true. Dawson played in a friendly against Barnsley last week. Burnley want him but Dawson wants £75k a week.

MC Prussian Posted 30 July 2018 Posted 30 July 2018 Not overly up to speed with regards to Dawson - he played right-back mostly for West Brom last season, correct? So, mostly a back-up option for two different positions. I'm in.
Lambert09 Posted 30 July 2018 Posted 30 July 2018 (edited) Unpopular opinion but I think he’d be decent. Always thought he was a decent player. If we moan about a player only having one good season surely it works the other way as well? Hes been very consistent in an over achieving west brom team, pretty much every season until last year. If we were picking up Evans and Dawson at the start of last season, our fans would think we were going to be competing again. Edited 30 July 2018 by Lambert09
weller54 Posted 30 July 2018 Posted 30 July 2018 We owe Dawson... Remember his headed equaliser against the verminous Spuds in our title winning year... I wouldn't mind him here!

Baggies mate at work says hes a 7/10 every week, which is good considering what they've had to deal with recently.
okie fox Posted 30 July 2018 Posted 30 July 2018 Dawson is a good player, better than most of our current defenders.
ozvaldo Posted 30 July 2018 Posted 30 July 2018 I’d rather weigh in at Slimming World and be told, via microphone for all the hear, that I’m a fatter cûnt than last week and I’ve put 6pounds on, than sign this fûck.

What I am saying is we signed Evans from West Brom and we don't need another from West Brom, 2 players from the same relegated team I don't think will be good business.
