Who are the babysquad?

According to Webbo, they're a figment of the imagination. After all, 'nobody wants to fight at football anymore...'

It's useful that we probably have a live example that that's simply not true.

Googled it. Hopefully just a sad remnant of a bygone era. From over

So that's Evans, Maddison, Silva and (presumably) Gray who've picked up injuries pre-season.

A bit worrying tbh.

We had lots end of last season as well... if it keeps happening people will start to question the prep.

It’s the lack of Ranieri’s PEDs I tell you!

I've heard of stewards and local police holding Leicester fans back, preventing them from leaving the stadium earlier in order to reach the train and the ferry back to England in time.

I doubt that there were any City fans who missed the train. The last eurostar was set to leave at 8-30 so we had to leave the game after 50 mins to get to the station ontime and there were many others who did the same thing. If you stayed to the end you would have missed the train even if you got a Taxi immediately. The ground was 20 mins drive from the station. Didnt see any trouble but I did see alot of police vans with sirens.  Good turn out by City fans, there were about 1200 there.

What's Sam Hughes done wrong??

Was lined up for a loan move to Aberdeen for the season. Everything agreed they were going to pay his wages, then last minute Leicester decided they wanted a £60,000 loan fee. Aberdeen then pulled out of the deal.

Would be nice to see the comparisons from last season ?

I did look up the other day and last season for stats wasn't much better than the Pearson season

By my estimation. Most of them must be mid 50s by now probably older and should know better by now.

That sounds like a carbon copy of what happened to Everton over there a few years ago.

Lille have got a small but very violent mob.

Sounds like your typical ultra cowards then.

Yes thought Lille were far too physical for a pre season "friendly" - some nasty tackles flying in. Maddison is class, thought Chilwell had a good game and Ricardo beginning to grow on me. Wasn't impressed with him initially. Benny had one of his better games and if Nacho can learn to shield a ball and toughen up he could be a really top player. Kasper pulled off a couple of very good saves.

Baby Squad must be in their late 60's, 70's now - bit of an overhyped myth really. Knew a couple to nod to 40 years ago and just ordinary lads.

We missed our ferry last night but in truth would have had to have had everything go our way to catch it on time. Next couple were fully booked, but we got a no show 45 mins later and had their docket. We think it was another city supporters coach. Did make me laugh when we were locked in after the game and started singing "we voted Brexit, we want to go home" different from the usual "Lille is a shi@hole, etc"

Getting picked on and stabbed is hardly wanting to fight at football.!!!

Why would you go to a friendly, in france, and leave after 50 mins?

What an absolute waste.

Get pissed in England if that was the objective.

Spotted a lad bragging earlier about lasting 4 minutes in the ground.

Throw in chants about Tommy Robinson and Brexit into the mix as well

Sad that our ends have dropped massively in terms of vocals yet but all accounts people will sing about those two.

Some ‘interesting’ chants yesterday. I appreciate people have different views but singing such songs give off such a negative perception. Also more and more often I am seeing fans arguing between each other mainly due to too much drink on the whole, sad to see really.

I’m hoping the Tommy Robinson chants were wholeheartedly on opposition to the odious little person?

It's the subjective perception that English fans can get loose abroad and won't be subject to harsh treatment by the stewards and/or police.

Fool on them.

Towards the end of the game some tool in towards the back on the left hand side was giving a couple in front of me to the left some abuse (and probably giving abuse to fans in general) for not standing up and singing in a friendly. After about 5 minutes of this pretty much all the fans to my right where giving him shit and he deserved it, no need to throw abuse at fans (calling the woman and her husband c****), especially in a friendly where there is sod all on the line. What made it worse is the people I assume he was with didn't do anything to shut him up until after the game when the husband had had enough and got in his face to shut him up. Not nice to sit near and ruined the end of the game as my attention was drawn to the moron and making sure that if anything kicked off myself and my dad would be able to move out of the way quickly. Hope he woke up the next day regretting how he acted, he was obviously drunk but that doesn't give you permission to act like a willy puller.

In celebration at his recent release from prison. We’ve had a section of fans what align themselves to such causes but never vocal with it
