You'd have thought with the hype Conor Tee was getting he'd be popping up in a couple of pre-season games. Still, a great thing to have Gordon, Johnson & Elder getting some first team minutes in

How long does Iheanacho's buy back clause last? Is it indefinite?  That would really suck.

It don't matter man c can't activate it. They have to be given first option if we want to sell.

first 5 minutes of the game was a write-off and less said the better. Since then we've been much stronger physically and matched their aggressive play, as well as just generally better in all departments. Lille even brought on more of their senior players in the 2nd half and our performance kept going up a notch. Going forward we look fairly fluid. Chilwell and Pereira (who looks very good) adding their presence there along with Maddison, Diabate, Iheanacho is promising.

Still quite cautious and apprehensive about how Friday will go as Utd are a different kettle of fish altogether. Obviously gonna come up against much better quality for the entirety of the match and that worries me a little.

I’ve missed something, when did Maddison go off?

55 mins or so, some knob stood on his ankle and cut him up a bit

Early second half. Suffered a bad tackle. Limped off but it didn't seem too bad.

56th minute, hit on his left foot, I think. There was blood, so he must've been cut badly.

Played on for a minute or two, then came off for good.

Shouldn't be too worrying an injury, I expect him to be back for the Premier League start.

THe attack plan of hoofing it up to Vardy has its limits, it’ll get you about 15 - 20 goals per season but you’ll never crack the top 10 without Mahrez. Either play Iheanacho and vardy together or sell Iheanacho and buy a mf who’s specialty will be hoofing the ball 70meters to Vardy.
