In terms of ability Banks is our best ever - he's regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time for a reason - but in terms of achieving at the football club then Kasper should top the list.

I have always been unsure about Kasper but he's improved so much in recent years. Growing up I used to like Keller and Walker. Fulop was great for us at such a shit time too.

Never took to Walker considering his backgrou d in the game always looked out of it.

Liked Flowers a lot but Banks and Shilton haven't been bettered.

Marton Fulop RIP

He was good for us when he was here. Shame we couldn’t have got him permanent.

RIP.

schmiechel best keeper no question. Too young for banks or shilton and I’m not gonna go on reputation alone

Thought Kevin Poole (not on the list), though not the tallest, was a good servant to us. Remember one save in particular against Stoke in a play off semi final which kept us in it at 0-0. Had to go in the Stoke crowd for the away leg which we won, what a hateful lot they were. Think Poole only retired a short time ago after a long and good career, good luck to him.

I watched both Shilton & Banks.

Both amazing Keepers but all credit to Kasper, he helped rewrite history and became our most important keeper.

Weale wasn't superb but he contributed more than the likes of Logan and Schwarzer. We overachieved in 09/10 and I can't fault any of them.

As much as I like Kasper,my top 3, will always come from...

Shilton

Banks

Wallington.. And unlike some I wont chose which order..Because those 3 were simply solid, again they also made mistakes..

While on pure old style technic, and using hands first, before feet, They are just a level higher, and they all commanded their whole.

Area...

At a push,I might go for Wallington,he seemed to entail, the high characteristics and quality of both the other 2...

Banks my 1st hero, had spoke to him a few times, before he left, also later still in his playing years, knew the Shilton close family, but

Drifted.Though Shilton ,with a couple more supported me  & got me on the then physio Bank at filbert street, one of the best covering

all sports at the time....Never got involved in any stories, never will.

We have history of having top rank goalkeepers,e ethos his one of anybody's top 12 and top 4 ,leaving behind great save memories.

Though every single one of them,I have seen make 2-3 boopers...just to show perfection is always a tick away from us all...

With no deprement..I put Schmeichel 5th just behind flowers...that said I doubt any other club in Europe can come up

With the quality of our top 6.. plus I never thrown negatives at Schmeichel...he does his job way better than most, and like

all makes slip ups,but I see not one reason why some nerds want to grind out negative campaigns....True respect for

the young man who thankfully plies his trade at an high level with our very own Leicester city football club, and is a true blue LCFC

Legend...

Didn't Gordon Banks basically invent that overhand save where by if a shot was travelling to his left he would reach with his left hand and then throw his right hand over gaining a few more inches?

Might be an urban myth but I'm sure that I have heard or read that Banks introduced it.

Marton Fulop and Paul Cooper missing from that list. Shilton marginally ahead of Banks for me.

Martin Hodge is also missing, don't know why?

Wallington was decent and a great club player but Shilton and Banks were and remain streets ahead of the rest. Banks possibly the best keeper but Shilton's goal scoring record is better.
