Okay feel free to. You won't find me classing Puel being sacked as a victory. As it isn't/won't be a victory. But, if we pick up more than 4 points, I fully expect you to @ me all the same and re-evaluate your opinion.

We are lucky to have 6 points thus far. Wolves battered us and we got very lucky at saints... 4 nil down to Bournemouth that's progress is it ? ffs , I can hear you all now saying ( he needs time to change our style of play ) Some people will take anything and still carry on believing even to the point of relegation. 1 1

You can't expect me to change opinion in 3/4 games if you won't even consider changing if we have an up swing in performances. Huge exaggeration "to the point of relegation", to back wanting him sacked at least use facts rather than stupid OTT remarks.
Bozman Posted 20 September 2018 Posted 20 September 2018 Have you actually looked at his record since he's been in charge ? I'm not talking about 3 or 4 games, the only time we look decent is when we go goals down. Anyway it doesn't matter what you or I think, the owners will be wielding the axe before to long , lose Saturday and he can kiss is job goodbye.. 1

Puel won't be fired if we lose to Huddersfield. The owners are trying to bring stability and will stick with Puel as long as possible. I never, never want my club to lose !!! 3
Ric Flair Posted 21 September 2018 Posted 21 September 2018 It would be nice for Vardy to grab a couple of goals, even nicer if they come from Maddison's assists. Get some fell good about the place again, however short lived.

Stability and growth don't come from swinging the axe when thing start to worsen. He's building something this season at least give him a go. And yes I've seen his record, over the last few days its been posted and manipulated hundreds of times.

grumpy old git Posted 21 September 2018 Posted 21 September 2018 Schmeichel Evans Soyuncu Maguire Ricardo Mendy Ndidi Chilwell Maddison Vardy Iheanacho I would agree with the above but for me Albrighton has to start. Maybe give Josh Knight a chance if Soyuncu not ready! Just heard Puel has said no to any changes in team formation, so 3-4-1-2 is out the window again. Why can't he see his formation is not working! One trick pony springs to mind!

SuperMike Posted 21 September 2018 Posted 21 September 2018 For the past eighteen months I've seen the calls on foxtalk for a 3-at-the-back with attacking wingbacks. Not one to always think that the 'in-thing' is always the 'best thing' (ie pointless possession football and 'playing out from the back') - I have always thòught NO - NO WAY for my beloved LCFC. But when you look at the current problems plusthe quantity and quality of players available in CB and WB posiition - it is almost ridiculous not to try 3/5 at the back. But, hey, Puel is the Messiah - so let his stubbornness rule - and take us swimmingly to the championship.

Like a lot of the other Puel Out brigade, you seem to have only appeared to spread the gospel of doom and gloom. Maybe if he’s sacked you’ll all slink off to whatever miserable hovel you were hidng in previously. This place will lighten considerably. Edited 21 September 2018 by UPinCarolina

Puel has his own formula and methods. He believes in his formation and will try to get it right. It is, incidentally, the most widely used formation in English football. It's not stubbornness or being a one trick pony but a manager with a vision. Whether it will ultimately fail or succeed, I don't know, but you can't blame a manager for following his own plan. Before Puel, I remember reading on this forum despairing posts about 4-4-2 again and again and how we should change formation. It seems that formations are viewed much like players on FT. It is the formation you are not using or the player who is not playing who is the answer to all our problems.... ...Until you play them. 5
